Shame, shame, shame on Chappelle
When Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage, Charlie stood up for him. After Charlie was murdered in an act of political violence himself, Chappelle is joking about it.

Don't worry, President Trump is not going to harm gay people, bring back slavery or strip women of their rights... But there is a religion you voted into office that will...

I am a professor at the @UofCalifornia. I am appalled by the conduct of one of its Regents, Scott Galloway, appointed in August by Governor Newsom. @profgalloway is one of only 26 voting Regents entrusted with governing a university system serving hundreds of thousands of students & employing tens of thousands of faculty & staff. Twice, first on a live Pivot episode featuring Hillary Clinton & on Prof G with Fareed Zakaria, Galloway called Elon Musk a “traitor to the West.” He invoked Julius & Ethel Rosenberg, who were executed for espionage, and declared that Musk should be held to the same standards. He didn’t explicitly demand Musk’s execution. But invoking the deaths of two convicted spies while calling an American citizen a traitor makes the implication hard to miss. Musk has not been convicted of treason. Indeed, “treason against the West” isn’t even an actual crime. Now imagine UCLA alumnus @BenShapiro, appointed a UC Regent, saying the same about George Soros. Would the Governor defend his right to serve? Would Regent leadership shrug and call it provocative commentary? Or would there be demands for resignation? But there’s something worse here than another of Scott’s trademark podcast rants. He sits on the Regents’ Academic & Student Affairs Committee. The committee’s charter says it oversees student conduct, faculty conduct, academic personnel, & campus climate, among other responsibilities. This is not some honorary title. The Board sets university policy, controls institutional budgets, & appoints senior university leadership. You can unsubscribe from a podcast. A student who finds Scott’s comments morally repugnant can’t unsub from the Regents. UC bylaws require Regents to serve the public trust with a “high degree of ethics and candor,” including as private citizens. Professors owe students intellectual integrity. Regents bear an even greater duty: they govern institutions that teach it. Yet a Regent serving on the committee responsible for student & faculty conduct invokes executions while labeling a fellow citizen a traitor. What does that say to our students? That intellectual restraint is expected of the governed but optional for those who govern? That standards of conduct depend on whether the target of your rhetoric is politically fashionable to despise, as long as the audience applauds? This isn’t about defending @ElonMusk. He needs no defense from me. Nor is it about silencing Scott. As if that were possible. He’s free to express his opinions, however reckless they may be. But freedom of speech is not freedom from accountability, and holding a university office of public trust is not an entitlement. There is an enormous moral chasm between exercising your right to speak recklessly and demonstrating the judgment required of one of the 26 people who govern our great public university. The UC Board of Regents isnt a podcast sponsors can boycott. It’s a public trust. One final irony. At @NYUStern, Galloway teaches Brand Strategy, including a session on crisis management. His own prescription for leadership in a crisis is unequivocal: acknowledge the problem, have leadership take responsibility, and “overcorrect.” He’s praised the departure of corporate leaders as evidence of effective crisis management. Now Galloway himself sits on the UC Board of Regents. Will he hold himself to the standards he teaches, or does accountability apply only to other people’s institutions? Professor lecture thyself! I believe Scott Galloway should seriously consider whether his continued service on the Board of Regents is consistent with the ethical standards and responsibilities of that office, or whether he should resign. I welcome the opportunity to discuss these issues with Galloway directly, including what standards we should expect of those entrusted with governing the world’s best university. Scott, you have an open invitation to join me on @Into_Impossible for an honest conversation.

I figured I’d test my bias and see if there is evidence of patients preferring Tyvaso over Yutrepia. Same prompt across 3 LLMs. Every single one said that not only is that not the case but that the opposite is true. $LQDA $UTHR

You're gay, Pete. Islam's law still says men like us should be put to death. Countries that follow it hang gay men. Calling this a win for our communities makes you a traitor to every gay man watching.
Abdul made this race about the cost of living, universal health care, and political reform. He stayed relentlessly focused on that message, even as Mike Rogers and Donald Trump threw everything they could at him. He has earned this victory, and he’ll be a strong voice in the Senate for our communities and neighbors in Michigan.

This ‘Boycott Ride’ in Philadelphia is the Left’s pro-Hamas, Jew-hating, BDS assholes-on-wheels. Every Democrat of conscience should condemn this sick parade of rank antisemitism. I’m glad to see the steps @PhillyMayor is taking to ensure the safety of the Jewish community.

Fong calls Newsom decision to commute CA death sentences shortly after election ‘political cowardice’ “Gavin Newsom waited until two days after the election to overrule 548 death sentences. If he believed in this decision, he would have made it while voters could weigh in. Instead, he hid it until the ballots were cast. That is political cowardice,” Fong wrote. Fong also pointed to specific Central Valley murder cases in the statement. “In 2003, Vincent Brothers murdered five members of his own family in Bakersfield, including his three children, ages 4, 2, and six weeks. In 1994, Bob Williams broke into a Bakersfield woman’s home, raped her, and murdered her. In 2004, Marcus Wesson murdered nine members of his own family in Fresno. California juries sentenced them to death. Newsom overruled it,” Fong wrote. “I will keep standing with the families who never stopped fighting for justice, even when Newsom won’t.” kget.com/news/local-news/fon…

sadly, this is where we're at. a vote for the republican party isn't necessarily a vote for trump. some people vote for conservative values because they don't agree with the direction of the far left. reducing every voter to one man only feeds the division.
The Republican Party is the party of Donald Trump. A vote for Mike Rogers IS a vote for Trump. I stand with Dr. @AbdulElSayed.

$LQDA earnings date? It was Nov 3 last year and that is what both Apple (stocks app) and Bloomberg are going with for this year. That is this coming Tuesday though no press release announcing a date yet so I'm doubtful. They typically wait for $UTHR to announce their date but $UTHR hasn't done that yet though Martine sold yet another $5.6m worth earlier this week. Be bold, $LQDA - you go first this time and grab Martine by the balls!

In Gaza, Jews get decapitated and their bodies are torn into trophies for Palestinians. In Israel, Arabs get to vote. I’m tired of listening to progressives with no education beyond Twitter claiming Palestinians are the oppressed ones.

I feel lucky to be Israeli. Out of 14m Palestinians in the Middle East, Arab Israelis are the *only* ones that get a vote. Palestinians in West Bank haven't voted since 2006, stuck under a 90 year old dictator. Lebanese Palestinians don't even get the citizenship. Jordanian Palestinians have a.........king. You may not like this, but the best thing to happen to Palestinians is to live inside Israel. Eat your heart out.
Wonder what the clown, @nasdaily is feeling right now after Zionists have shed their mask about what they actually feel about "Arab Israelis" 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Help get @abdulelsayed elected to the senate! Jewish safety depends on a real multiracial democracy—and Abdul is the one fighting to protect it. Get involved and help at abdulforsenate.com/vote go.abdulforsenate.com We know how much it matters to live in a country where our rights are protected, where the law applies equally to everyone, and where the majority can’t just decide that some people don’t deserve the same freedoms. The safety and freedom we’ve found in America didn’t happen by accident. They exist because of democracy. And protecting democracy means protecting Jewish safety, too. We know what happens when those protections start to break down. When courts are weakened, elections are undermined, and people lose equal protection under the law, minorities are often the first to pay the price. Jews have seen this throughout our history. It’s one of the reasons so many of our families sought refuge in democratic countries. That’s why I find it so alarming to see what’s happening right now. When masked government agents are taking people off the streets and citizens are being shot in public, we should all be worried about where things are headed. As Jews, we know that when a government starts targeting certain groups of people, no one should assume they’re safe from what comes next. Mike Rogers has chosen to align himself with a movement that is willing to attack our democracy. He stood with Trump and refused to accept the results of the 2020 election. And now we’re seeing what happens when a political movement treats the rights and dignity of certain people as disposable. For Jews, these things should set off alarm bells. Jewish safety is tied to the health of our democracy. We can’t protect one without protecting the other. And in this Senate race, Abdul is the candidate who understands that and is willing to fight for it. #abdulelsayed #democracy #jewish #midterms

$LQDA Nice to see it hold a day’s gains after several tries in the past week. Decent volume and today’s close was the highest close since the ruling (closed at $70.69 the day before on Sep 29). As @zipjet has pointed out several times we’ve seen some very big volume relative to the float indicating a new shareholder base. Perhaps the last of the sellers have finished and there will be some stability ahead of the all important Q3 call when we hear from mgmt for the first time since the decision.
