It was great being on Morning Live this morning.... About to go live on eNCA at 13h40 📺📺
I also have someone who wants to take me out for coffee in an attempt to make up for screwing me over. I'm too lazy to have coffee with them today because I'm not in the mood to explain their character flaw. People know what they're doing then they want to be baby sat🙃
Looking forward to a great weekend. Farewell session for my one friend who is returning to work next week and birthday celebrations for my other friend who i have not seen in a minute ✨️💥💯

Being born in South Africa, to South African parents whose bloodline traces back to South African ancestors, is a fucking miracle. A privilege I will never take for granted. +27 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Your hair carries your DNA. You must ensure you dispose of it in a way that protects you. Even ama dreads. Lento yokuwagunda uwabeke, noma uwadayise noma uthenge awabanye ayikho right. Hair grows, no need to save it after cutting it.

When I was a firefighter, we had this absolute legend who became our station’s favorite person on the planet.
There was a guy who worked at the local Pizza Hut who listened to our scanner in his spare time, He knew every call we went on.
If it was a serious fire, especially one that kept us out for hours, he’d wait until we got back to the station, exhausted and starving, and then “miraculously” have some pizzas show up.
One night we came back from a brutal structure fire that had us out for almost six hours. We were filthy, tired, and running on fumes. As soon as we pulled the trucks in, the phone at the station rang.
One of the guys answered.
Pizza Hut Guy (cheerful): Hey, it’s Mike from Pizza Hut, I heard you guys had a long one tonight, I’ve got four large pizzas here that somehow got messed up in the kitchen. Any chance you want them? They’re just gonna get thrown out otherwise.
Our lieutenant, half-dead but grinning, replied:
Lieutenant: Mike, you beautiful bastard, You know we do, Send them over.
Mike: Already on the way, Cap. Extra pepperoni on two of them, You guys stay safe out there.
Fifteen minutes later, a delivery driver showed up with four steaming hot pizzas labeled “Mistake Orders.”
We were sitting around the table like kings. One of the guys took a massive bite and said with his mouth full:
Firefighter: I swear Mike listens to that scanner more than we do, This man is a saint.
Another firefighter laughed: He’s better than family, Family doesn’t bring you pizza at 2am after a house fire.
From then on, whenever we had a bad one, we’d come back and someone would joke, “Wonder if Mike’s got any ‘mistake’ pizzas tonight.”
He never asked for anything in return. Never wanted recognition. He just quietly took care of us.
Even now, years later, that same fire station still orders from that Pizza Hut religiously. I do too whenever I’m in town.
I hope Mike knows how much he meant to all of us. In a job where you see a lot of ugly things, he was a constant reminder that there are still really good people out there who just want to help.
Thanks, Mike. You were our hero on the days we needed one most.
