Got to be Boh Rap for me Michael. It’s got it all surely (well, except synthesiser - nobody played synthesiser, according to the credits on the first 4 Queen albums!!). A six minute single - it just hadn’t been done before!

Tough question for all of those long-time Genesis lovers. I’m always split between SEbtP and TLLDoB. The double album just triumphs for me. The complex lyrics/story and brilliant music of The Lamb is my pick. Sadly, it was the last to feature Peter, of course.

“Turn it on Again” - from Duke, what many Genesis fans see as the last credible album offering - sits head and shoulders above the other tracks you mention IMHO.

Ziggy by some distance for me Michael. My dear sister, again! She saw Bowie in the Ziggy tour way back in 1972, in Oxford. The album came not long after and she played it to death, so it was a strong influence on 12-year-old me!! Still listening today!!

CotC for me - love the others too, but this was my first prog concert and my first prog album. I’ve had just over 50 years with it, and it still sounds fresh!

Have to go with Skynyrd - a big fan of their early studio albums. Less knowledgeable about the Allman Brothers Band. Have to add them to my homework list!!

“A Night at the Opera” for me Michael. My Queen preference is for the first 4 albums; my darling fiancée goes for Opera and beyond! So I guess we’ve got it all covered, which is no bad thing!!

CotC for sure, though BiA is good. Supertramp were the first prog concert for me, playing CotC so I have a very deep connection with the album. Title track is an epic, but every track has meaning and merit, IMHO! Give it a listen if you’ve not been brought up in it.

Genesis since age 16, and my first Genesis concert, Hammersmith Odeon, 1976 (TotT tour). Now aged 66, so that’s a whole 50 years . . . OK, the last few albums were fading away IMHO, but Lamb Lies Down is definitely still my number one album!
