Thinking about a resin 3D printer for home use? The machines in 2026 are brilliant. But there are a few things worth knowing before you buy, especially if you've got kids or pets around.
Key things to sort before your printer arrives: a dedicated ventilated space, nitrile gloves in bulk, a wash and cure station, and a plan for resin disposal. Get those right and resin printing is genuinely rewarding. Skip them and you'll regret it fast.
If you've already got a resin printer at home, I'd love to know where you're running it. Garage? Shed? Spare room with the window cracked? And do you find water-washable resins actually make a noticeable difference to the smell?
