Dawn, arguably the most prominent independent news organization in Pakistan, compiled a list of the country's seven most rigged elections and ranked the 2018 elections at number one.
However, former Indian Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) SY Quraishi, whom Dhruv Rathee interviewed as an independent, impartial expert on Indian elections, SIR and current CEC Gyanesh Kumar called this very 2018 Pakistan elections free, fair, and transparent.
This single example is enough to understand Quraishi's objectivity, judgement and bias.

Yeah, because forces that should be protecting our borders are being deployed to stop citizens from protesting.
Modi is putting national security at risk by using security forces against his own countrymen.
The priority should be securing our borders, not turning Delhi into a fortress to suppress peaceful protests.

This is a Reuters image of protests in France. Most of the western media reportage on French protests focus exclusively and overwhelmingly on brutality, destruction and anarchy of the protestors, portraying them as out of control monsters.
In contrast, most of the visual reportage of protests in India focus exclusively on police action on violent protestors. Rarely would you find images of destruction, though these were widely noted.
This isn't a coincidence. The lens is revealing. The visual imagery creates two narratives. One, protests in West are "evil". Protests in India are "against evil".
