Rich people don't manage their own investments, they just tell someone what they want and let them handle it. AI chat interfaces are starting to do that same job for everyone else, at a fraction of the cost.

Borrowing against a stock works the same as remortgaging a house. Take out $50,000 today, and even if that stock is worth a lot more later, you still only owe the $50,000. You keep all the upside, you just borrowed against it

Rich people don't sell their stock to raise cash. They borrow against it instead, so there's no tax and they keep their shares. Banks just won't bother doing that for someone who needs a few thousand dollars. Edel Finance is building a way for regular people to do the same thing.

"I don't need plan B. I want plan A to work." My full conversation with Andres Sol, Founder of Edel Finance - the lending market that lets you tap into your stocks without selling them. You deposit your stock. You get a credit line. You borrow. Done. The stock stays yours. So does the upside. Money is never free. But you never have to sell. 00:00 Intro 04:41 Dropping Out At 19 In Switzerland 08:10 Seven Figures In Beanbags During COVID 09:00 Discovering DeFi And Launching Stablecoins 12:38 Why Crypto Became A Casino, Not Finance 13:07 The Robinhood Moment That Sparked Edel 16:14 Building Aave For Apple Tesla And Nvidia 21:27 The Billionaires' Money Glitch For Everyone 28:30 Vaults That Can't Get Liquidated 34:35 Why AI Is Eating Your Job 39:36 Why He Doesn't Think He'll Die 43:13 Why Institutions Are Going To Canton

Donny Slabs on why Pokémon outlasts every other collectible: it's multi-generational. He sees it at every show, dads walking round with their kid's binder, sharing something they collected as kids themselves. Nobody's doing that with stocks.

Replying to @jack_gk
@jack_gk's OG generation, and he's not shy about it. He doesn't like when Pokémon go past 150, and it genuinely bothers him that the full roster's over 1,000 now. He gets why new generations pull fresh fans in, he just doesn't care, and pulling a rare card numbered in the 900s does nothing for him.

PSA grades trading cards, and also runs its own marketplace to buy them, which is where Donny Slabs loses trust. A partner sets a price for a top-grade card, so every seller who pops that grade gets offered the same number, labelled a "PSA partner offer." The company grading the card is also profiting from it.

MSRP is $164.99, and you're like, wow, this is incredible," is how Donny Slabs remembers pre-ordering six boxes of Surging Sparks at $100 each. By the time they shipped, MSRP wasn't a real number anymore. It still isn't.

You don't need to know the career. You just need to know what fulfils you, then reverse engineer that
