Recently, I came across a Computer Networking session on YouTube by Kunal Kushwaha. He explains Computer Networking and the OSI Model in a very simple and practical way — especially for people getting started with DevOps. In the session, he breaks down concepts like: • What the OSI Model actually means • How data moves across different layers • Real-life networking examples • How systems communicate inside a network What I liked most is that the explanation is very beginner-friendly and visual, which makes complex networking concepts much easier to understand. If you’re starting your DevOps or Cloud journey and networking feels confusing, this session can really help build strong fundamentals. #BuildInPublic

🐚 Shell scripting is a superpower for DevOps engineers. • Variables → Store reusable values • Loops → Repeat tasks automatically • Conditions → Make decisions in scripts • Functions → Reuse code efficiently • Cron jobs → Schedule recurring tasks • Exit codes → Check command success or failure • Logging → Track script execution • Error handling → Handle failures gracefully From server maintenance to automated deployments, shell scripts save time and reduce repetitive work. If you’re learning DevOps, don’t just run commands. Learn to automate them.

📊 Prometheus + Grafana = Smarter Monitoring • Prometheus → Collects metrics • Exporters → Expose system metrics • PromQL → Queries monitoring data • Alertmanager → Routes alerts • Grafana → Turns metrics into dashboards • Node Exporter → Tracks Linux server metrics • Kube-State-Metrics → Exposes Kubernetes resource states • Alert Rules → Detect problems before they escalate A server going down is a problem. Not knowing it’s going down is an even bigger one. Monitor your systems. Understand your metrics. Act before users notice.

🐧 Before you dive into DevOps, Cloud, AI, or Cybersecurity… Learn Linux first. One thing I’ve learned about the tech industry is that strong fundamentals make everything else easier. Linux isn’t just another skill to add to your resume. It’s the foundation behind many of the technologies we use every day. ☁️ Cloud Computing — Understand how servers work and manage them. 🚀 DevOps — Work with servers, troubleshoot issues, and automate tasks. 🐳 Docker & Kubernetes — Understand containers, processes, networking, and file systems. 🔐 Cybersecurity — Learn permissions, users, processes, and system security. 🤖 AI & Machine Learning — Work with development environments, GPUs, and Linux-based infrastructure. 💻 Backend Development — Understand server environments and application deployment. If you’re starting your tech journey, don’t rush to learn every tool at once. Start with the fundamentals: ✅ Linux commands ✅ File permissions and ownership ✅ Users and groups ✅ Processes and services ✅ Networking basics ✅ Shell scripting ✅ Logs and troubleshooting Don’t just memorize Linux commands. Practice them, break things in a lab, troubleshoot errors, and understand what’s happening behind the scenes. Because in DevOps, knowing a tool is useful. Understanding the system behind that tool is what makes you better. 💡

☁️ Learning Cloud Computing? Start with the basics: → What is cloud computing? → Learn AWS fundamentals → Understand EC2 and S3 → Explore IAM and VPC → Practice with real projects Don’t just watch tutorials. Build something, make mistakes, and learn how to fix them. Learn by doing. Grow step by step.

I see creators on X earning $18,280 ( Rs. 17,36,600 ) per month. Rs. 57, 886 per day. Yes. That's happening. This is highest amount I see as of now. You can also earn. In beginning not this much but may be $200 per month. Create valuable content.

🔄 CI/CD concepts every DevOps engineer should understand • Source Control → Track code changes • Build → Compile and package the application • Testing → Catch bugs before deployment • Artifact Repository → Store build outputs • Pipeline → Automate the entire workflow • Deployment → Release changes to environments • Rollback → Recover from a failed release • Monitoring → Track application health • Notifications → Alert teams about pipeline results • GitOps → Manage deployments through Git The goal of CI/CD isn’t just faster deployments. It’s making software delivery faster, safer, and more reliable. Build a pipeline. Break it. Fix it. Learn from it.

Most people learn Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Prometheus without realizing they have one thing in common: They’re all built with Go. ✅ Docker ✅ Kubernetes ✅ Terraform ✅ Prometheus ✅ Helm ✅ Argo CD ✅ Traefik ✅ Vault ✅ Consul ✅ etcd ✅ kubectl ✅ Loki This is one of the reasons Go has become so important in modern infrastructure and platform engineering. Go was designed to be: • Simple to learn • Fast to compile • Efficient to run • Excellent for concurrency • Easy to deploy as a single binary These characteristics make it a natural fit for building cloud-native tools at scale. If you’re working in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Kubernetes, learning Go can help you understand the tools you use every day—and even contribute to the open-source projects behind them. Go isn’t just another programming language. It’s one of the foundations of the cloud-native ecosystem.

Terraform concepts every DevOps engineer should know • Providers → Connect to cloud platforms • Resources → Create infrastructure • Variables → Make configurations reusable • Outputs → Display useful resource information • State → Track managed infrastructure • Modules → Reuse infrastructure code • terraform init → Initialize the working directory • terraform plan → Preview proposed changes • terraform apply → Apply infrastructure changes • terraform destroy → Remove managed resources Stop creating cloud infrastructure manually. Learn to define it, version it, and manage it as code. That’s the power of Infrastructure as Code (IaC). ☁️
