Fucking dying at Clay Travis LYING ABOUT GOING TO THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY WHEN HE WAS A KID LOLOLOL
Clay Travis claims The Cheesecake Factory was a childhood luxury. Except it didn't open in Nashville until he was 26. @Timodc and @PabloTorre investigate the curious case of his restaurant nostalgia: “We are now swift boating Clay Travis for Cheesecake Factory stolen valor.”

The Trump administration is considering lifting sanctions on Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, according to The New York Times. A U.S. official confirmed the administration is assessing the fund’s application for removal “through established procedures” as part of an effort to “improve U.S.-Russia relations and help end the war.” A final decision has not yet been made. The Biden administration sanctioned the fund after Russia’s 2022 invasion, calling it a “slush fund” for Putin. People familiar told the Times that Russian officials pushed for relief in talks over the fund’s role in shipping Russian diesel to the U.S., after Trump suspended sanctions on Russian diesel October 9th. Treasury considers the fund already authorized to handle diesel and is running the normal removal process separately. This would follow earlier actions taken by President Donald J. Trump with respect to Russian sanctions. On October 16th, President Trump signed an order waiving the duties and most of the sanctions provisions of the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. On October 21st, as envoy Steve Witkoff met with Putin, Russia released Stephen Hubbard, a 74 year old American held since 2022. President Trump wrote that the U.S. “was not required to give anything in return.” In remarks that day he said the U.S. “gave nothing in exchange.” In a Truth Social post just a few minutes later, he wrote that “if sanctions would have been placed, certainly those negotiations would have come to a complete and total halt." They will also be giving out actual life-size Muggsy bobblehead dolls.
The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes.

Imagine just dismissing expanding health insurance access and protections for millions of Americans and killing the mastermind behind the Sept. 11 attacks.
Watters: It’s jealously. Obama's legacy is trash. All it is, he was black, Obamacare, Bin Laden, and the bail-outs. That's it

George W. and Laura Bush are backing James Talarico against Trump's terrible candidate Ken Paxton
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The article shown names Barbara Bush, daughter of George W. and Laura Bush, who gave $2,500 to a PAC backing Talarico, and George W.'s brother Neil Bush, who said he voted for Talarico. It does not report that George W. or Laura Bush back him. hoodline.com/2026/10/second…

So Trump’s closing argument is that high gas prices are good because his donors who run oil companies are making bank, Jon Husted has a nice ass but not quite as good as Nicki Minaj’s ass, after 7 months the Reflecting Pool is almost done, and we get a ballroom, arch and helipad.

Andy Beshear: I've got soybean farmers. 100% of them voted for Trump. They lost their first client in USAID. Linda McMahon canceled the farm-to-cafeteria program. Trump's tariff pushed China away. All of your farm machinery runs on diesel. And finally, a third of the world's fertilizer passes through the Strait of Hormuz. They are on the verge of declaring bankruptcy.
