My guy is 38. He works in Lagos, earns ₦280K. Married with 2 children, his wife is not working. For 3 years he has been applying for Canada. Finally his agent said his visa is almost ready. He has already saved ₦9M for proof of funds and ticket. Last week, his former boss called him and offered him a manager role in his new company. Salary is ₦650K plus commission, plus official car. But condition is, he must commit for 3 years and forget this Japa talk for now. Now he is confused. His wife said: “Take the job, let's stay. ₦650K is good money, we can save and build here. Abroad is not easy, you will go and start washing plates.” His friends said: “Are you mad? Take the Canada. Suffer for 2 years and your child will have a better future. That ₦650K today will be ₦150K in 2 years due to inflation.” He told me, “Bros, I am tired. I want the best for my family. If I stay, what if the company sacks me after 1 year? If I travel, what if I struggle and regret leaving a good job?” If you were him, would you STAY for the ₦650K job or JAPA with the ₦9M?

I love this app soo much, once you start bragging here about your motion and influence and how you will quote or repost someone's post and it will go viral. The X algorithm will turn it back on you 😂 regardless of the numbers of followers you have. You will start from scratch 🤣

As a muslim ooooh, As a christian oooh, Bad government knows no religion. As a Yoruba ooooh, As an Hausa ooooh, As an Igbo ooooh, Bad government knows no tribe. I pray that Tinubu’s economic policies meet your business unless you’re an internet fraudster. At the end of the day, a lot of fools need to kp@i for Nigeria to move forward. Imagine someone from the poverty capital of the federation, who desperately needs saving, tweeting like this. Some of you guys deserve the bandits killing you and sacking you from your ancestral lands. If this madness persists, my pity for you people will be gone, and I will celebrate whenever bad news relating to insecurity surfaces from your region. You cannot vote for Peter Obi, but you can vote for a drug criminal and a certificate forger who is frustrating your life. . Peace. .
No Muslim should vote for Peter Obi.

"You look hungry." Those were the exact words two different people said to me after seeing this exact picture of my transformation. I received other cruel comments too. But the truth is, I was already prepared for those comments before coming out on social media. I couldn't care less because I know the knowledge I have acquired and the impact it can make. The greatest impact has been helping others achieve their desired body goals. That's why I named my brand Weight'ier' Matters. My name is Tolks and I coach weightloss 💜

Good morning ☀️ Some days you wake up motivated. Some days you just wake up. 😂 Either way, show up for yourself today. Do what you can, protect your peace, mind your business, and keep building quietly. No pressure. No unnecessary comparison. We move. 🫶🏽

Many guys using X in my neighborhood are just using it either for football news, celebrities gists and political news . They don't know that X can change their lives and make them millionaires. I tried to encourage them to put in more efforts in the App and they said they can't.

An Italian chef would rather get sacked than put pineapple as a topping on a pizza. Those people don’t joke with their food culture. You don’t break their spaghetti while trying to cook it. But Nigerian women, because of sheer laziness and aesthetic, want to westernize all their food, thereby turning pounded yam into blended yam, and many local dishes have lost their authentic nature and taste. Y'all should keep your westernization to wearing fake hair, fake lashes, makeup, and fake butts. Leave our food alone. No be aesthetics we go chop.

My friend got promoted at work six months ago, and his salary increased from ₦350k to ₦600k. But he refused to tell his wife or any of his family members. Every month, he gives his wife ₦150k for food and other household expenses. His daily transportation to and from work costs him another ₦45k monthly. He's also responsible for his siblings, pays his child's school fees and handles other family responsibilities.....

Shout Out to all the beautiful women who don't need to dress half naked to get a man's attention. Stay classy!

I know a man in Lagos. He was not a bad man. He was not a drunk. He went to work, paid school fees, loved his wife. His only problem was BET. It started small. 2k on weekend games. "Just for fun." Then 5k. Then he won 80k one Saturday and thought he had found a second salary. That's how they trap you. They give you small win to collect big loss. Soon he was betting every day. Virtual. Aviator. Correct score. He would hide in the toilet to stake. One day his wife asked for house rent money. He said "I invested it, it will double next week." He staked the rent. He lost it. He borrowed to recover. Lost again. Then he sold his car. Lost. Sold his land. Lost. Then he did the unthinkable — he used the documents of his own house to collect loan from a loan company to "recover all his losses in one big win." You already know how the story ends. He lost. The loan people came with police. They locked the house. His wife and 3 children slept outside that night. As I type this, they are squatting in his wife's mother's one room in Sango. A whole house, gone to 90 minutes of football in England he has never been to. If you are dating or marrying someone who cannot stay 1 week without gambling, you are not marrying a partner — you are marrying risk. Gambling is not hustle. Gambling is not investment. Gambling is addiction wearing the cloth of "hope." If you know you have this problem, let this year end it. Delete the apps. Tell someone. Get help. Because this thing has no respect for family, love, or years of hard work. It will take everything and still ask for more.
