REMINDER: Katie Hobbs and her administration are under active criminal investigation.
Her various scandals paint a damning picture of a governor who has blurred the line between public service and personal politics at every turn: donor favoritism, insider deals, massive fraud, and an alleged pay-to-play scheme.
Arizona voters can’t afford to tolerate another four years of her corruption.
Do not sign! ESAs are an incredible resource for all students and families in Arizona. This proposed ballot measure is misguided, unnecessary, and imposes an arbitrary cap on eligibility. Always do your research before signing an initiative petition.
The state's teachers' union and Save Our Schools Arizona have filed ballot measure paperwork that could let voters put guardrails on Empowerment Scholarships. 12news.com/article/news/educ…

🚨The Arizona Legislature intervened in the Mi Familia case to defend Arizona’s common-sense laws that require proof of citizenship to vote in Arizona elections.
Today, House Speaker @SteveMontenegro and Senate President @VoteWarren asked @AGPamBondi to review the Mi Familia case to ensure that Arizona and other states can continue to exercise their constitutional authority over their electoral systems. 👇

A big win for @GoldwaterInst client @AZCDL_Freedom and gun owners in Arizona today! A state judge struck down Pima County's unlawful firearm reporting ordinance on multiple grounds, protecting gun owners from a patchwork of varying local gun laws.

🚨@GovernorHobbs just vetoed commonsense elections reform.
Arizona lags the nation in counting ballots and in the time it takes to count ballots and report results.
Reform is common sense, and clearly Hobbs has none.

🚨House Executive Oversight Committee Calls for Attorney General to Take Legal Action Against Phoenix Over Unlawful Firearms Transfer
STATE CAPITOL, PHOENIX (Monday, April 15, 2024) – State Representative @electjacqparker, Chairwoman of the House Ad Hoc Committee on Executive Oversight (CEO), and Vice Chairman @azaustinsmith sent a letter today to Attorney General Kris Mayes urging her to initiate a quo warranto action against the City of Phoenix for violations of state law stemming from a 2023 investigation which concluded that the City’s ordinance facilitating the transfer of firearms to Ukraine was in breach of three specific state statutes. Despite being alerted to the ordinance’s violation of state law, the City of Phoenix proceeded with the transfer.
They once again invited Attorney General Mayes to address these concerns at the upcoming CEO hearing on April 17, or to provide a detailed written response. She has indicated publicly a reluctance to cooperate despite multiple records requests and letters from the CEO Committee seeking additional information.

🚨FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE🚨
New House Ad Hoc Committee on Executive Oversight Formed to Uphold Rule of Law, Deter Partisan Abuse and Weaponization of Public Offices
“The Arizona House of Representatives has an inherent obligation under the Arizona Constitution to conduct appropriate oversight of officers in the Executive branch to protect the rule of law and the separation of powers,” said Speaker @RepBenToma. “I established this Committee because the public and members of the House have raised serious concerns suggesting that Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes has engaged in a pattern of malfeasance in office. It is critical that this Committee fully investigate those allegations, thoroughly review Arizona laws, and solicit more information as necessary to advise the House on any and all appropriate measures that should be taken.”
“Attorney General Mayes has refused to defend state laws in court, harassed parents who have elected to use the ESA program to educate their children, threatened elected county officials with illegitimate prosecutions, and diverted funds and resources of her office to serve her own partisan purposes that are not authorized by the Legislature or state law,” said Chairman @electjacqparker. “These are among the allegations that I expect the Ad Hoc Committee will thoroughly investigate.”
