First and foremost. NCAA rule book says all players should be sidelined during injury.
Now let’s get something straight. Grace Dietrich isn’t some random person on the Duke sideline. She’s a certified athletic trainer with a master’s degree, doing her job and responding to an injured player.
Medical personnel should NEVER have to fight their way through anyone to provide care to a student-athlete, especially not knowing the severity of situation.
I don’t care who you are or what position you think you hold. Player safety comes FIRST.
There’s no defending that behavior in my opinion.

No it took more than just one year to be in contention for a title. It required great coaching, recruiting and dedication to be in the top 10 let alone cracking the top 5. It was a time when conferences were based on geography and not on TV deals. Playoffs ruined CFB.

People didn’t appreciate what they had during the BCS! A 4 team playoff was never the answer. An 8 team playoff was never the answer and it definitely can’t be 12. Trying to perfect a system that had the greatest imperfection was one of the failures of college football.
