Today feels like Christmas....The Tesla app will be moving to the unreal engine for the car visualization, which will match the in car UI. The Tesla mobile app team is incredible, and always working so hard to make the BEST mobile app possible. 😩

Working on the build decompile but have a feeling it’s tied back to this! Looks wonderful on iPhone Duo 🤩

I know this is not Tesla related, but felt compelled to share as I love lil projects like this.
Ordering the iPhone Duo this year was absolutely brutal, so over the weekend I decided to script a lightweight monitor just to ping my phone the second a single configuration pops up for in-store pickup. Turned into a super fun rabbit hole learning how modern client-side proof-of-work challenges mint session cookies under the hood. Ended up solving the handshake natively in pure Python (~1ms, no headless browser needed), batching all 8 SKUs into a single check, and wiring up push alerts on state changes.
To be clear: I’m just trying to get one phone for myself, and I won’t be releasing this publicly since the last thing I want is to amplify the bot problem any more than it already is. Saw way too many people bragging about their bots securing 4–5 Duos this year. Really hoping Apple locks down much stronger anti-bot ordering for next year’s drop.
