Fun fact: This test consisted of strip which contained dried enzymes glucose oxidase and peroxidase. Upon being exposed to sugar in the urine, glucose is oxidized to gluconic acid and H2O2 - with peroxidase utilizing the H2O2 to oxidize a dye that is blue. How sweet is that!! 💙
