"All faith in this life is imperfect. Our safety lies in this: however poor or weak our faith, all is well if it touches the Perfect One. That touch draws upon the power in Him, and we are saved." Horatius Bonar
2 hours of scrolling a day is 730 hours a year. You could read through the Bible 5 times or more with 730 extra hours.
Another shot of the Canadian Rockies, no AI, just a lot of sweat and tears, lol. We read a couple of psalms at the top, seemed fitting.

Have we lost the art of boldly sharing the gospel?
In a culture filled with distractions, debates, and difficult questions, how can Christians boldly and faithfully proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ on the street corners or one-on-one?
This week on The Missions Show, Alex and Scott sit down with evangelist and author Ryan Denton to discuss why bold, biblical, even pleading, evangelism still matters.
Drawing from his experience in open-air preaching, prison ministry, and church planting, Ryan shares how he's seeing a growing openness to the gospel and why we must never lose sight of our ultimate goal: calling people to repentance and faith in Christ.

"Open-Air Preaching doesn't work"... "People will think you're angry"... "That type of evangelism doesn't work anymore"... "only weird people do that"
👇This shows otherwise. Pastor's let's get out of the office and Preach the Word!

Christ has said, be of good cheer. I've overcome. I've overcome. The Lamb has overcome. The Lamb has been slain & yet He's been raised. It's all finished. Now rest in Him as He's offered in the gospel. Lay hold on Him with the hand of faith. Come to Him & He'll not cast you out.
Talked about flowers, stained glass windows, and more with @RFBWCF, hope it's helpful

Hiked 14 miles through grizzly country to the top of the Rockies yesterday with a couple of guys from the Nobleford church. "For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also."
I had the great privilege of preaching twice at Nobleford Presbyterian Church (FCC) this past Lord's Day, plus another service this Wednesday and Bible studies & soul winning throughout the week. My first time out of the country in years, and first time in Canada since 2010. The congregation is warm and pious, and very hospitable. Please pray for both them and myself.

1. Go where the people are. This is what Paul did. He reasoned in the synagogue because the Jews were there, and in the marketplace because the people were there.
2. Look for foot traffic. Even better, look for people who will be standing around for a while. Bus stops, lines outside venues, campus walkways between classes, and intersections with long lights, etc.
3. Consider the sound. Traffic, machinery, and construction can make a location practically useless. Find a place where your voice carries and where you can preach plainly without having to scream yourself hoarse. Look for areas with Good acoustics.
4. Know where you’re standing. Learn the property lines, the local ordinances, and any restrictions on amplification. Keep doors and walkways clear, and other common sense courtesies.
5. Keep going back. There is much to be said for preaching at the same place, on the same day, week after week. People get to know you. Some who laughed at you in the beginning may eventually approach you with serious questions. I've seen this a lot.
6. Pray, and get on with it. Choose a place and go preach. You can spend so much time looking for the perfect location that you never actually preach.
