This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." Credit to: Jim Keller

As a father, this is tough to read... if my daughter asked (as she is prone to do because she asks for accountability and fairness) I'd lean heavy into the fact that we do things because we care and its the right thing to do, but the other adults in this story? Shame on them...
Last Saturday, my nine-year-old son handed over $146 he’d raised for our neighbor’s medical bills. A few minutes later, an organizer asked him to move out of the photograph. It had started with a folding table on our lawn. Our neighbor was having treatment and couldn’t work. My son asked whether selling lemonade would help. I bought the ingredients. He made the sign. For six weekends, he carried cups outside, counted change, and waved at passing cars. Some people bought a drink. Others put money in his plastic tub and told him to keep it. One rainy afternoon, I suggested packing up. He asked to wait another ten minutes because someone had promised to come back. When the neighborhood committee heard about it, they offered to combine his money with donations from local businesses and arrange a presentation. He counted everything twice before we went. At the hall, a woman emptied his tub and added the money to the collection. Then everyone gathered for a photograph with our neighbor. My son stepped forward. The organizer touched his shoulder and guided him sideways. “Just the main sponsors for this one, sweetheart.” He moved a little. She asked him to move farther. Two men stepped into the space he’d left. He looked toward me, holding the empty tub against his stomach. I was already walking over when he caught my sleeve. “Dad, did she get the money?”

SO FUCKING RACIST! Not only did they call the police, but his team refunded his money and kicked them off the team. 🚨🚨🚨Yes, a 3-year-old soccer player named Nevada was removed from his youth league, and his family received a refund after police were called to the field. What Happened •The Incident: Nevada was playing in an i9 Sports youth soccer league in Winter Park, Florida. At 3 years old, he was playing in a division against children around 5 years old. • •The Complaints: Opposing parents complained that Nevada was dominating possession, keeping the ball too long, and scoring multiple goals (reportedly scoring up to 10 in a game) because the older children could not take the ball away from him. Some parents accused the toddler of "trying to put on a show". • •Police Involvement: The league issued a trespass notice against the family, and police officers arrived to escort Nevada and his parents away from the field in front of the other children and spectators. • •The Aftermath: The family was removed from the program and received a full refund for their Fall 2026 registration, sharing footage of the incident on social media where it went viral

🚨 BREAKING: A Black couple showed up to tour an apartment in Queens... and the broker accidentally texted THEM instead of the owner: "Ugh. They are Black." They'd just moved from Delaware for her new job. Now they're SUING Douglas Elliman, the agent AND the owners. "It doesn't change the pain. It doesn't take away the pain you caused us that day." Think about it. They were judged before they even had a chance. They only found out because she texted the wrong person. Most people never do.

Yesterday was Elon’s greatest magic trick. It got everybody believe an amazing technological gap had just been made. I got fooled too. At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was so excited. And don’t get me wrong , the technology, the precision at which the car did what it did, was fabulous. However, it was not a car doing it. And that is the true, Machiavellic genius of Elon. There is no flying car. There is no car at all. It was an empty shell. As light as possible. No seats. Nothing. Full of gas tanks. With a maximum of 2 secs of thrust usage. In other words, it was a drone. A drone with a shell that looked like a car. Imagine if it had been a square piece of metal instead. You would have said “nice”. The truth is, it is nothing more than that. It was not the car that you will see in the street. It was just a piece of light metal, that had the same body as the one you wil buy. The technology exists since a long time. If nobody did it, it’s not that they didn’t think about it’s it’s because it is not sustainable. It is not achievable. So why were we fooled ? Because most people can’t imagine the biggest entrepreneur and genius of our century would have put millions into a show and be ruthless enough to put a fake car in a demonstration with the goal of selling something that will have nothing to do with what he is showing. It was a show. A spectacle. Pure manipulation. Ruthless, immoral marketing. The whole “ socialism vs capitalism” or “Europe vs America” we are seeing is the result of a fabulously done propaganda. The car doesn’t fly. It never will. Most importantly, there wasn’t any car on that show. But the brainwashed idiots that we are will rush to buy it, waiting for another two years ( 9 have passed already since the preorders), only to receive something that has nothing to do with what we have seen. Expect the shell. But in 2026, it seems it is what we are. Empty shells for which entertainment and lies are enough to make us dance like apes. Porsche maybe didn’t do a flying demonstration. But at least they will deliver exactly what they have shown. And it will drive better than any Tesla ever will ( especially if it weights two fugging tons).

I visited Northern Virginia’s “Data Center Alley” to see firsthand how out-of-control data center development can upend local communities. The trip made it even more clear why Floridians don’t want data centers in their backyards. This used to be trees and hills. Now, it’s a data center that’s ruining the peace, health, and home values of its neighbors. It’s 24/7 noise pollution. Just listen.

Last night, Donald Trump, our pathological liar-in-chief, said: “Every single promise I made to you as a candidate, I’ve delivered on. I’ve delivered on everything.” Really? Well, let’s go down the list. Since becoming president again, Trump promised: ✅ $5,000 DOGE dividend checks. A lie. ✅ $2,000 tariff dividend checks. A lie. ✅ $1,000+ checks by repealing ACA subsidies. A lie. ✅ A 10% cap on credit card interest rates. A lie. ✅ “The lowest drug prices in the world.” A lie. ✅ $2 a gallon gas. A lie. ✅ An end to inflation “starting on Day One.” A lie. ✅ An end to “endless wars.” A lie. And now, after all of those lies, Trump wants you to believe that he will give every American adult a $5,000 check - but only if the Republicans win the midterms. No. I don’t think so. The Trump Administration is not about helping working families. It’s about giving a trillion dollars in tax breaks to the 1% and throwing 15 million Americans off the health care they have.

A woman invested one hundred fifty thousand dollars from her personal retirement funds so that senior women would have access to reasonably priced housing and avoid spending their later years in solitude. In the town of Cumby, Texas, seventy-year-old Robyn Yerian withdrew resources from her 401(k) account to establish The Bird’s Nest, a collection of compact residences designed expressly for older women who wanted both low-cost living arrangements and the company of others. Across a five-acre property, Robyn arranged for essential services and prepared fourteen plots suitable for tiny homes. At present, eleven women ranging in age from sixty to eighty reside there, each contributing roughly four hundred fifty dollars monthly. The residents discovered benefits that extended well beyond modest rental costs. They prepare and enjoy meals together, assist with daily tasks, monitor one another’s health during periods of sickness, and gather beneath a shared outdoor structure. The setting has evolved into an environment in which advancing age need not equate to social isolation. Interest in the community has been substantial. Robyn is said to have obtained over five hundred inquiries for the limited fourteen available positions. She might have devoted her entire retirement nest egg exclusively to her own needs. Instead, she directed a portion of those savings toward creating an asset that many seniors value as highly as shelter itself: a neighborhood in which no individual is required to grow old in isolation.
