What is Tharpa?
Tharpa means “liberation” in Sanskrit (pronounced Tar-pa). Founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, we are the dedicated publisher of his books and so much more.
Let’s keep spreading peace—one page, one meditation, one heart at a time.

"Karma means "action." From non-virtuous actions comes suffering and from virtuous actions come happiness: if we believe this, we believe in karma."
Modern Buddhism, page 46.
