The Upstairs Pub has officially become a corporate sponsor of BHN and all of its podcasts & long-form content across all platforms. The Indiana University themed network focuses primarily on IU sports and the fans that follow the Cream & Crimson. It provides them an outlet to connect to their beloved school, team and the smalltown that calls Indiana University home. The Back Home Network includes such IU-centric shows as the long running pods @CrimsonCast and @AssemblyCall as well as the @RhettNFL vehicle 'Big Red Carpet'. It also boasts the @thetriciasydneyshow - hosted by former IUWBB standout and @BigTenNetwork host @sydney_parrish and @AppleTV @MLB correspondent @TriciaWhitaker BHN network also plays host to several other IU sports related programs, ranging from 'Xs & Joe's', 'Doing The Work' and 'Football Weather' among others. For anyone of a certain age & era who grew up in Bloomington - simply put - Joe Smith was an absolute institution. There was no internet then; No phones to get lost into or to use for your sports fix. He was the trusted voice you leaned on for all of that. Joe had an innate way of weaving tales and retelling stories of local high school sports & athletes that made you fall in love with the games and schools he covered. That voice, man; that voice! This is a gut punch to anyone lucky enough to have known him and to anyone fortunate enough to have him cover you or your school (admin included). When he joined Don on the IU call, that broadcast team became complete. The absolute best of the best at what they do!! Don Fischer, Max Skirvin & Joe Smith.
