Zionism, the drive for a Jewish state, is often pegged as the root of what’s called antisemitism, but is it really hatred of Jews, or backlash against a political ideology?
Over the past 20 months, the Gaza conflict has shown how Zionism, especially under Benjamin Netanyahu, fuels resentment that endangers Jews worldwide. Worse, Zionism can be seen as antisemitic by lumping all Jews as Israel supporters. Traditional voices like Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro, alongside secular and anti-Zionist Jews like Norman Finkelstein, Dr. Gabor Maté, and Alon Mizrahi, call this out, standing with Palestinian and Muslim protesters globally.
Yet, Israel smears these critics as “self-hating,” ignoring the growing deep divide within Jewish communities. Zionism drives this mess and clashes with Judaism’s spiritual core.

Many people don’t realize how absurd European taxation is. Let’s take a look, shall we? A French employee, let’s call him Nicolas earns €100k gross per year, this would be nothing special in the US, but with €100k Nicolas is in the top 2% in France.
First, after income tax and contributions, his net is roughly €64,250 a year. His employer pays another ~€42,000, for a total cost of ~€142,000. This means 55% in taxes and contributions, and only 45% for Nicolas.
Second, when Nicolas wants to buy anything he pays another 20% in VAT.
Third, when Nicolas tries to save for his retirement, his interest income is taxed at 31.4%, not on his real interest income, inflation is taxed as well.
Then, when Nicolas dies his children face up to 45% inheritance tax.
If you think that’s a lot, that’s not everything. France has 348 different taxes and levies, basically taxing everything that moves.
Isn’t it entertaining that the French left seriously demands even higher taxes? In which parallel mental universe do these people live? Get a real job if you want to contribute to society.

Roy Altman is a longtime advocate for the FDD and Israel.
There is no legitimate reason for judges in the US, or any other nation for that matter, to visit Israel on guided sanitized tours.
Federal Judge Roy Altman says he's taken "ten percent of all the active federal judges in America" on trips to Israel "just in the last three years."
Now, he's apparently making state supreme court justices humiliate themselves by competing with one another to go on said trips.
"Whoever's going to go is going to have to play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who wins," he says he told the justices. "I looked down two minutes later, and these supreme court justices were going like this [and playing Rock, Paper, Scissors]."
Absolutely insane this is being tolerated.
