Great news. We can manage without Ricky, Hincapie can handle Barcola, just his crossing up the other end that needs work.

مشاركة كالافيوري أمام ليفربول لا تزال محل شك.
من المتوقع أن يكون رايس & مادويكي جاهزين لمواجهة ليفربول.

I agree with the sentiment, but we know how these games are refereed, Arteta would’ve told Max that we really need him and not to give them any reason. We know you can’t react, however wrong it is. He needs to learn this lesson, it will happen to him all throughout his career.
Football is in a weird place when Dowman's reaction to that tackle is deemed a more violent/punishable offence than the tackle itself. Two yellow cards would have been fine. Arteta's response was as disproportionate as the referee's decision to show red.

I sincerely hope these were just minor / precautionary. Arteta never says he just chose to rest the players, so hopefully they are there for Sunday. Rice and Ricky for obvious reasons, but Noni’s pace is vital for this game. A positive update on Tzolis wouldn’t go a miss either.
Mikel Arteta has revealed that Riccardo Calafiori, Noni Madueke and Declan Rice all missed this Carabao Cuo game with injury.
Calafiori was “out”, Madueke has an ankle problem and Rice “picked up something the other day”. #afc
The wider context is key here too. Saka is out, this was a good opportunity for Max, now he’s out for 3 PL games and now Noni is on his own. You can’t blame a 16 year old for reacting of course, but he will learn from it.
I love Max. I don’t care about the Carabao cup either (rather have fewer fixtures in the new year). I think the challenge on him was unnecessarily heavy and a cuntish move.
But if he wants to play men’s football at his age, he needs to be more mature and that’s what Mikel will be thinking.
You don’t lash out, which is what he did. He kicked into him off the ball and planted his studs into the thigh of the twat who went for him. That HAS to be a red card. No ifs or buts.
The smart play is to either go down holding your legs (and get the opposition player booked) or have a teammate smash him on the ball. Anyone advocating that he’s “standing up for himself” there is just as immature as Max was. Did nothing to help himself or his team.
He’s only 16, yes. But if you want to play for a title challenger at 16 then you need to be wiser than that.
Gotta be honest, I didn’t even know he was doing all of this 👏🏽
I am so proud of you, Bukayo. 🥹

Bad agents can really ruin your career
During negotiations Sesko’s agent Elvis Basanovic had left club insiders jaw dropped with his shenanigans. One insider said he presented Sesko as “Messi”
While the agent of Gyökeres had reassured Andrea Berta he would handle the majority of negotiations with Verandas. #Levels
Good move. I reckon 2 more months at least.
🚨 BREAKING: Michael Carrick remains in charge of Manchester United and will be given the opportunity to turn the situation around.
Training is taking place as normal, with Carrick and his players fully focused on preparing for Saturday’s clash with Chelsea.
The emphasis within the club is on delivering a response on the pitch.
