Recently, the GCSP welcomed representatives of the Global Governance Institute (@Jingshi_ggi). The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the war between Russia-Ukraine & on China–Europe relations, and to discuss broader international security developments.
Last week, the GCSP’s Transformative Technologies and Security course explored how AI, biotechnology and other emerging technologies are reshaping global security. Thank you to all our speakers, and congratulations to our participants!
On 15-16 October, we organised the Eastern Europe CSO - UN Regional Dialogue on Peacebuilding in cooperation with @cmioffice, the Governments of Switzerland (@SwissMFA) and Finland (@FinlandGeneva), and @UNPeacebuilding. Thank you to all who joined us!

I extend my sincere gratitude to the distinguished speakers, colleagues, and engaged international participants who joined us on 14 and 15 October for the 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 course, part of my 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 Online 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺.
Over these two days, our high-level exchange moved beyond theory into the critical realities of emerging disruptive tech,
