Please retweet @TheO2 have so far allowed 6 pigeons to die in the netting above their structure. They were notified on Thursday when there were 2 dead birds & have done nothing. Since then 4 more have died. They have a cherry picker that will reach them but choose not to use it.

It breaks our hearts that Muriel and Gus, two beautiful young cats, are still waiting for a family to call their own. Their siblings and mum have all been adopted, but Muriel and Gus- full of love and energy - are still patiently waiting for someone to see how special they are 1/

They’re neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start their new lives. They could likely live in a household with existing cats or with children that are respectful towards animals. They're fostered in SE London (SE18). All adopters are subject to a home visit. 5/

A few weeks ago I got called to rescue a fox that had wandered in through an open door, been chased by the resident cat and taken shelter in an upstairs room. A healthy fox so once retrieved was released into the garden. Donations welcome to @TheGWN_ a brilliant rescue charity!

It was great to join with others to show our frustration with Cory over their deceptive messaging. Removing 6 acres of land and offering to ‘enhance’ already rich habitat for wildlife to offset this action is frankly ridiculous. They clearly don’t care that nature is in crisis.
Friends of Crossness Nature Reserve are furious at @CoryGroupUK’s deceptive use of language! Let’s be clear concreting over 6 acres of valuable grazing marshland and ‘tarting up’ what’s left does not make more habitat: bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lo…

A newborn kitten has returned to purrfect health after it was trapped under a car engine in #Woolwich 🙀 Thankfully, our firefighters were on hand to rescue the little one and prevent a cat-astrophe 😻 @LFBGreenwich Read more: london-fire.gov.uk/incidents…
What an exhausting evening we had, desperately trying to free a kitten trapped in a car’s innards in SE18 for over five hours, not making it home until 1AM. It was absolutely worth it, of course, to have Polo safe (named by one of the wonderful firemen who helped save his life.)

We owe a huge, huge thank you to everyone that helped save this little life - the car’s owner, the police, and of course the heroes at London Fire Brigade. Since the kitten is far too young to be out and is riddled with fleas, we suspect he is a stray. – at Eltham, London

In a weird way, he’s lucky - he’s potentially been spared a life on the streets by putting himself in such an in uncompromising position (and us through hell!) A happier life now awaits him. greenwichwildlifenetwork.org… – at Eltham, London
