'Absolute Batman' reimagines the seminal tragedy of DC’s most popular superhero as something even darker, evoking themes that reflect the fears and anxieties of today’s readers. It’s kicked off an entire line of series that have rejuvenated interest in superhero comics — specifically in a newer, younger audience. More: rollingstone.com/culture/cul…

Great read on it. Really fascinated by where this goes.

The thing about the ending of #25 is that reframing Mid 20s Bruce Wayne finding solace by adopting Grayson with the narrative of him dealing with an unplanned pregnancy is actually pretty interesting. It's a more immediate way that responsibility...

What excites me most about what's happening in today's Absolute Batman is that I've never seen that story for Bruce or Selina (or Bruce & Selina) before. It's a very big swing and I'm deeply excited for Scott and Nick and their incredible team to give it to us.

I talk a lot in interviews about how important it is to keep an open mind about a story -- especially in comics where story comes in awesome but often bite-sized pieces that maybe don't fully "resolve" for 6 or even 12 months. The #1 story I tell about... 1/X

Darkseid really really hates Batman. Not only is Joker a demon from hell, but Bruce will now have to be a parent in his mid 20s 💀

Well I rather be optimistic than constantly living in doom about comic books. And to be honest its the most something has happened with Joe Kelly having discussions with Zdarsky over Armageddon and Avengers, Spider-Man shown in Captain America whenever Mephisto was used in this story, and the ending of Armageddon/the first Avengers story

It's finally out - ABSOLUTE BATMAN #25! This is our biggest issue so far, and wraps up the latest story arc from me and Nick Dragotta. HUGE moments in this one, and it'll set the stage for the entire series going forward. Pick it up NOW, and thanks so much for everything.

this is the first issue of absolute batman in a hot minute that's made me feel that primal hype again good ending for this arc, seeing the crew betray bruce to fulfill their dreams is great and the ending twist that got spoiled is interesting as well

So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…
