If you ever wondered why Sonic 3D’s PAL boxart is so bizarre and hideous, I don’t believe it was initially intended for the game. It’s just a piece of CG stock art based on Sonic’s design from the UK comic.
I guess they thought it was good enough for the game because 3D lol.

The Switch 2 dumps have given us access to proper 3D models of previously 2D-only Wonder assets thanks to Mario Tennis Fever. These and the Mario model are so high poly, they were clearly made for renders, not to be used in real time. It's crazy that these run in-game.

It’s poetic that the final film he’s worked on is another Looney Tunes project he helped save; one about Bugs himself retiring.
