Brent Spiner tells the unbelievable story of his first and last day as a hospital orderly.
Brent Spiner: “I was an orderly at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, when I was 16.”
Jonathan Frakes: “How old are you?”
Brent Spiner: “16.”
“My uncle was a doctor. And he wanted everyone he knew to become doctors, so he got me a job working in the hospital.”
One day, a patient recovering from surgery looked up at Brent while he was taking his blood pressure.
Brent Spiner: “He said, ‘Am I dead yet?’ And I said, ‘Not yet.’”
“They grabbed me and pulled me away. ‘Don’t you ever say that again.’”
“The head nurse said, ‘Take this man’s temperature.’ I said, ‘Well, he’s asleep.’ And she said, ‘Just roll him onto his side and put the thermometer in.’”
“I put the thermometer in and I was looking at my watch going, ‘Okay, two minutes, let’s go.’”
“Two minutes went by and he had rolled back onto his back. When I rolled him back over again, there were beads of mercury and a little piece of broken glass on the bed.”
“They had to take him back into surgery and remove the other half of the thermometer before he woke up and sued the hospital.”
“And that was my last day as an orderly.”
Noah Wyle: “And your Uncle Cole said, ‘Maybe go to acting school.’”
Brent Spiner: “Yeah, go to acting school, exactly.”
Noah Wyle: “Wow, that’s an unbelievable story.”
Today on I'm rich you're poor: Skims Kardashian advent calendar.
It was only 11 days
Filled with things you'd find on the floor of my car or between the sofa cushions.
It was $150.
Why does everyone still like these people!!?
Stephen Miller on Dems recently " You give them power you will have violence, corruption, chaos, poverty, decay."
Does he think we're dumb!? He just described the last 2 years! 🤦🏻♀️
Last 4 watched Letterbox Friday!
So The Survivors is basically a movie Robin Williams and Walter Matthau made on The Rise and Fall of MAGA in 1983!
How close we got to Idiocracy is scary!
I would've went from
"Pick another protein."
To
"You don't need water, just drink Gatorade."
California voted against prop 40 bc when you read Right Wing Robin Hood, the peasants give the money back bc it's was wrong. 🤦🏻♀️
Oh you know what adds some light to all this is Robin Williams and Walter Matthau made a movie about MAGA and being scam!
"I'm just a business man. That's all this is about, isn't it. Capitalism. Making the most money out of any situation." The Survivors (1983)
Tubi watch list!

Jon Stewart on Chuck Schumer: “Someone has to meet this moment. You have an opportunity to actually govern. One of the first things you need to do is remove that system of seniority from Democratic politics. It’s a bullshit system and it needs to go. Chuck Schumer fought tooth and nail against half of these fucking people. He does not understand the urgency of the moment and what the future demands”

Lauren Boebert was dancing on election night.
Until the votes started coming in.
It looks like a lovely fall day outside but it's like 80F degrees 😒 I hate being in the south so much.
It was great wins but most of the republican props and amendments didn't get turned down. The new candidates should get ahead of it, mention it everytime they're interviewed or giving speeches.
Don't blame me!!
As you're putting away decorations and getting new out if you find any of these things please take them to your local rescue or shelters
Including a cat tax to make sure this gets seen and please share.
Thank you 😺
