I see some big voices now wanting to blame the Iran War for this bloodbath. Let’s make this clear. Anyone who wants to NOW admit the war in Iran was a mistake has forfeited their credibility. You didn’t want to say the right thing until Republicans got slaughtered. Now, suddenly, you understand why the war was a mistake? Where were you when we needed you? The electorate heard the right things about this war from the wrong people, while those who should have spoken up remained silent. Under normal circumstances, one might say, “Better late than never.” But when we’re potentially facing six years of Democratic control because of these failures, I have a different response, too late, and too bad. Trump is a lost cause, and frankly, has been since 2025. Blame on him is a given. My disappointment, however, lies more specifically with those who could have opposed this nonsense but chose not to. Too few influential voices got this right when it actually mattered, and that’s a shame.

Patrick Bet-David, Benny Johnson, Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, Dan Bongino, Glenn Beck/Blaze Media, Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters/Fox News, Steven Crowder, Jack Posobiec, and many others did not use their large platforms to put enough pressure on the administration to avoid this war. This INCLUDES even the “limited strikes” and hitting the nuclear sites during the 12-day war. That was a major escalation that provided little strategic benefit (Iran preserved the highly enriched uranium before the strikes and can still rebuild the facilities) and only heightened tensions. The "limited strikes" also increased Iran's resolve to potentially get a nuclear bomb and or force closure of the strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab strait (~30% of the world's energy flows through those 2 paths). This war has led to inflation and doubled the price of gas in America with Brent crude sitting at over $100 per barrell for months! I actually like and respect a lot of the people on this list, but when it mattered, they avoided calling out the administration for this geopolitical disaster, and that directly led to the massacre we witnessed last night. It’s only going to get worse from here unless we make some SERIOUS CHANGES before 2028. Neoconservatism is officially dead.
