Match-worn Sergio Ramos Real Madrid jersey — gifted to his childhood idol Claudio Caniggia In February 2017, after Real Madrid beat Napoli 3-1 in the Champions League round of 16 at the Bernabéu, Sergio Ramos finally met the player who had inspired him as a kid: Claudio “El Pájaro” Caniggia. Ramos had often said Caniggia was one of his idols — not just for the goals, but for the long hair he copied as a teenager. That night they swapped shirts. Ramos gave Caniggia this very jersey (the #4 he wore in the game) with a personal dedication: “Para mi ídolo y amigo Claudio Caniggia. Con todo mi cariño y admiración. Sos un grande. Fuerte abrazo. Sergio Ramos” A piece of football history that connects one of the best defenders of his generation with the Argentine legend he grew up watching. Special one.
