HILLTHORN was also really cool, card-based detective thing, loved that
WYLDHEART I mean I'm working on it so I played the shit out of it already but it's like a TTRPG that's been minmaxed
Steam NEXT Fest has 8000+ demos 💀
If only 5% of the demos had creator outreach, your game would be competing for attention with 400 other games.
At what point are publishers gonna stop pinning so many hopes and dreams on this free to enter, massively oversaturated event?
There's like 20 winners each NEXT Fest? Mostly games with marketing budgets up to $1m or it's sheer viral luck.. and then there's, everyone else.
Publishers act like its Gamescom where they pay tens of thousands to attend, yet it's free.
Surely something's gotta give soon..
