My favorite part of Brand New Day was Spiderman ignoring a bank robber to have some fun free time.
Biggest con I felt was Peter having another AI powered suit and no explanation in how Peter is living comfortably in Nyc with no job.
I wish they showed his life beside the Spider-man a bit.

I'm dating a twin and I'm not 100% sure I picked the right one
I met them at the same time. Same bar, same night, same group. Identical twins, and I mean identical. Same height (6'1), same build (lean, swimmer's body), same dark curly hair, same jawline. The only difference is one has a small scar above his left eyebrow from stitches as a kid.
I kissed the one with the scar. Or I think I did. The bar was dark and I'd had four vodka cranberries and by the time we were making out against the jukebox I wasn't checking foreheads. He tasted like whiskey and his hands were big and sure on my waist and I remember thinking this is the one, this is the twin I want.
We've been dating for two months now. He's sweet and funny and attentive and the sex is good. Solid. He goes down on me every time, he holds my face when he kisses me, he brings me coffee in bed on weekends. He's a good boyfriend.
But his brother is at every family dinner. Every group hangout. Every Sunday football thing at their parents' house. And his brother looks at me in a way my boyfriend doesn't. Not better, just... different. Longer. Like he's holding something behind his teeth. And sometimes when we're all in the kitchen and both of them are standing near me I catch a whiff of cologne and I can't tell whose it is and my body reacts before my brain decides who it belongs to.

My husband secretly told my widowed mother-in-law not to come to our Christmas dinner because he didn't want her “bringing down the mood.”
I only found out when she called me to apologize for being a burden.
She had lost her husband earlier that year and had been spending most holidays alone. I had invited her because I didn't want her sitting by herself on Christmas.
My husband claimed he was protecting our family's peace, but I later discovered he had told her that we were keeping the gathering small.
There were already 14 people on the guest list.
I confronted him, and he said I was choosing his mother over him. I told him that excluding a grieving woman wasn't something I was willing to accept.
I canceled the dinner plans and arranged to spend Christmas with her instead.

I used to think my ex-boyfriend was just incredibly organized. He loved planning everything, and at first it honestly made my life easier. Looking back, it should’ve been a warning sign.
Whenever we made plans, he’d send me an itinerary. Not just where we’d meet, but what time I’d leave home and which route I should take. He even suggested what we should order so we wouldn’t “waste time deciding.”
I laughed about it in the beginning. He’d always smile and say, “I just like being prepared.” It sounded harmless.
After a while, I noticed something strange. If I suggested doing something spontaneous, he’d look disappointed. If I picked a different restaurant, he’d spend the rest of the evening talking about how much better his original plan would’ve been.
Eventually, I stopped making suggestions altogether. It was easier to let him decide than spend an hour explaining why I wanted something different. I didn’t even notice I’d stopped having preferences.
One weekend, he was out of town visiting family.

Jon Snow ruined Westeros the second he opened his mouth.
If Jon keeps his mouth shut about his parentage, Varys lives, Daenerys doesn't burn King's Landing, and the realm actually gets a stable ruler.
Did Jon's "honors" destroy the dragon, or was Dany doomed to snap no matter what? Drop your takes below.👇

Jane Foster really slapped Loki like he was an ordinary man who needed to be put in his place.
One of the funniest moments in Thor: The Dark World happens when Jane visits Loki in his Asgardian prison. You'd expect her to be intimidated by the God of Mischief, but she doesn't even hesitate before giving him a good slap across the face.
And Loki's reaction makes it even better. Instead of getting angry, he simply smiles, almost as if he's enjoying every second of it.
Thor's reaction adds another layer of comedy, especially when you remember how complicated things have always been between the two brothers.
Loki is used to manipulating people, playing mind games and getting under their skin. But Jane wasn't interested in any of that. She simply gave him exactly what he deserved.
Sometimes, you don't need a clever plan to deal with Loki. You just need a good slap.

For several months, my neighbor had been treating my backyard pizza oven as if it were part of her own kitchen.
Nearly every Friday, she’d text to ask whether she could borrow it for her family’s weekly pizza night. I always said yes without thinking twice, and she generally brought it back the following morning.
It had become such a normal routine that I barely noticed it anymore.
That changed when I needed a favor from her.
Last Saturday, I was getting ready for a family gathering and wanted to clean the driveway. My neighbor had a pressure washer, so I thought I’d ask if I could use it for the afternoon.
Her response caught me off guard.
"Sorry, I don’t lend that out. My husband paid quite a bit for it, and I’d hate for someone to damage it. You never really know how carefully people treat things that belong to someone else."
I wasn’t upset. It was hers, and she had every right to refuse.
"That’s understandable," I said.
Then I remembered something: my pizza oven was still in her garage.
So I went over to pick it up.
As soon as she opened the door, she knew exactly why I was there.
"Are you taking your oven back? I was planning to use it tonight."
"Yes, actually. I’ve decided to keep it at home from now on."

Nothing makes you question humanity quite like sitting across from someone on a panel show who looks you dead in the eye and treats dating like a venture capital pitch.
we were talking about spending two grand on a guy, and her face went completely blank like a disconnected hard drive.
"is he my girlfriend?"
dead silence in the room.
then she doubles down: if a guy ever asked her to buy *him* a bag, the relationship is instantly over. no hesitation. just pure transactional ghosting protocol.
so i had to ask the obvious question: how many guys in her life are actually lining up to buy her a chanel bag?
and her whole defensive wall crumbled in real time.
you can literally hear the gears grinding in her head trying to spin up a comeback before whispering, "probably not as many as you."
gotta love when a podcast guest accidentally signs their own confession form on live mic.
