Disclaimer: I'm just a nerdy 4th year med student who's interested in sports med but... Feels like this is likely a higher grade MCL tear (likely grade II or III). From what I'm reading he will likely wear a brace with limited range of motion for the next 4-6 weeks. 1/

Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. has sustained a torn MCL in his right knee and will be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon. Jackson will not require surgery.
