What "MAGA" really means
The phrase has troubled liberals who think it is a call for a return to an America before civil rights, gay rights, and women's rights. But I have a more generous interpretation, one that is truer to my experience of Donald Trump as he is today. "Make America Great Again" recalls a nation brimming with vitality, with a can-do spirit, with hope and a belief in itself. It was an America that was beginning to confront its darker shadows, could acknowledge the injustice in its past and present, yet at the same time could celebrate its successes. It was a nation of broad prosperity, the world's most vibrant middle class, and a idealistic belief (though not consistently applied) in freedom, justice, and democracy. It was a nation that led the world in innovation, productivity, and technology. And it was the healthiest country in the world. I have talked to many Trump supporters. I have talked with his inner circle. I have talked to the man himself. This is the America they want to restore.

50 years ago there was a no female can run a marathon mandate.
How many parents or non parents that are horrified at this image, now think perfectly ok to do the same to an unjabbed runner now? Perfectly healthy. Low/non-existent viral load. Perhaps better than all jabbed?
Remembering #Stupidity in #Society
1967: Organizers of the #BostonMarathon tried stopping Katherine #Switzer from #running
Remember #Woman’s #right were an issue
Mrs Switzer made it & was the first woman finishing the race
Maybe a good example of reflection society behaviours

Caffeine intake (3 mg/kg) 30 minutes before exercise increased fat oxidation by 11% in the morning and 13% in the afternoon.
Maximal fat oxidation and VO2max were higher during afternoon exercise compared to morning exercise (placebo-controlled trial).

Watching the Patrice O’Neil doc followed by a @TheDailyShow @Trevornoah commercial is seeing the best and the worst back to back. Trevors writers should save themselves and write him off the show.

Good enough is usually good enough.
Good enough over and over again is often how you get to great.
The culture loves heroic efforts. Heroic efforts are how you burnout.
Great outcomes love consistency. Consistency is how you play the long game.

Memo to @JoeBiden: Policies that stop US oil/gas production don't change growing global demand for oil/ gas, but do: 1) destroy American companies, 2) destroy American jobs, 3) decrease tax revenue, 4) decrease energy security, 5) increase pollution (more foreign production).
The best joke @ComedyCentral ever made was canceling @drunkhistory and @danieltosh but somehow @Trevornoah @TheDailyShow still has a job.
