BREAKING: The U.S. struck Iran’s Qeshm Island, according to U.S. officials.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the strike is part of a series of limited, largely undisclosed U.S. attacks on Iran in recent weeks, which Washington describes as defensive measures aimed at preventing Iranian attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Earlier today, Trump told Axios in a phone interview that he’s “in no rush” to decide whether to resume military action against Iran.
“One way or the other, we will do something, but there is no rush. We crippled them financially. They have no money, no gasoline and their people are getting very tired of it,” Trump said.
