TOYOTA GR GT3 SET FOR RACE DEBUT AT MOTEGI! ROOKIE Racing will replace its Mercedes-AMG GT3 with the long-awaited GR GT3 for the SUPER GT finale on November 7–8. Hiroaki Ishiura and Tokiya Suzuki will share the #32, racing outside the points classification. The car is expected to compete in WEC and IMSA in 2027. 📸 Rookie Racing

INCEPTION RACING SWITCHES TO CORVETTE FOR 2027. The British team will field a #70 Corvette Z06 GT3.R in IMSA's GTD class, ending its association with Ferrari. Brendan Iribe and Frederik Schandorff remain the full-season drivers, with Ollie Millroy joining them for the Michelin Endurance Cup rounds. It will be Inception's fifth consecutive full IMSA season.

PHILIPP ENG AND BMW TO PART WAYS AFTER 11 YEARS. The Austrian will leave BMW M Motorsport at the end of 2026, bringing an 11-year relationship with the German manufacturer to a close. Genesis Magma Racing has confirmed an unchanged driver roster for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship. Following the announcement of @dani_juncadella during the 6 Hours of Barcelona, @MagmaRacing has completed its six-driver line-up for 2027, which also includes @paulloup_chatin, @PipoDerani, @Mathjaminet, @MathysRacing and @Andre_Lotterer. CONFIRMED: Leonardo Fornaroli will race for McLaren in the FIA WEC in 2027, as first revealed by The Stint. The reigning F2 champion will make his Hypercar and Le Mans debut in the MCL-HY, joining Mikkel Jensen, Alex Lynn and Laurens Vanthoor. The 21-year-old Italian will also remain McLaren's F1 reserve driver.

HISTORY FOR GENESIS! First WEC pole position for the Korean manufacturer! Mathys Jaubert claims his maiden Hypercar pole at Barcelona with a 1:30.166 in the #17 Genesis GMR-001. Ryo Hirakawa puts the #8 Toyota second (+0.170s), ahead of Mathieu Jaminet in the sister #19 Genesis (+0.324s).
