History made in two southern states. Byron Donalds, first Black governor of Florida and first Black Republican ever elected in the United States. Keisha Lance Bottoms, first Black woman elected governor in Georgia and first Black woman ever elected governor in the United States. Great historic moments for our country regardless of where you land politically.

Road maintenance. Interesting. CA makes about $9B annually with the nation’s highest gas tax. That money is for road maintenance. But somehow we have the worst roads. Potholes on the streets, and more dangerously, on the freeways; roads that haven’t been repaved for decades; raised ridges in the road from old and uneven asphalt; etc. Obviously this $9B is not being spent on road maintenance. It is being stolen. Additionally, you have the CA state campaign to get everyone in an EV car, without considering the reduction in people paying the gas tax. Their solution: this mileage tax. Just for the EVs? Oh no, for everyone. For the gas tax payers and also the EV drivers. All because they need that money that does NOT go to road maintenance, to stay at $9B annually. Thieves.
A mileage tax in California? Xavier Becerra says he would consider it, "everything should be on the table" to maintain roads and bridges. "Do I want to tax people more than necessary? No.. Should people who drive EVs who don't need gas pay for those roads? Absolutely."

Thousands of unsecure ballots were spotted right out in the open in a hallway at an LA Skid Row shelter. The shelter claims ballots are kept locked in a secure area, but photos prove otherwise. U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli confirmed a Skid Row election investigation but wouldn't discuss this shelter specifically. CA is ground zero for every type of fraud there is, especially election fraud.

Holy shit...this clip is unreal. Nithya Raman has absolutely NO clue about how housing works in LA. Oppenheim explains to her that landlords are losing money over the last decade and she's got ZERO idea what he's saying. This lady was chair of the Homelessness and Housing Committee for years and she's genuinely hearing this for the first time in her life. Unreal that this low IQ buffoon is about to be the Mayor. WTF are we doing.

The average person living LA is a 2-3 generation Californian or an immigrant. Nonetheless Black Americans formed ethnic enclaves that were highly successful and functioning until open borders wiped out entire Black strongholds like Compton, Watts, Inglewood and Lynwood. Now when Dr. Dre gives back to Compton high school which was nearly 70% Black in 1984 but only 15% Black today, mostly non Blacks reap the benefits. Houston is 20 years away from looking like LA unless we pause all immigration.
Replying to @Coutorce
Well Houston & LA already share A LOT of geographical similarity. The difference is with Houston being in the south, there’s a large population of “Native” black Americans that are FROM that area VS LA where 9/10 every black person from there is only a 2-3 generations away from Southern Migration

My buddy's neighbor just got robbed and pistol-whipped in broad daylight in downtown LA. Look at how unbothered these animals are. No rush. No fear of getting arrested. Good luck, LA! Ain't nobody coming to help you.

New #Rams K Blake Grupe tore his ACL and is out for the rest of the season. LA is back on the kicker market.
Just in: Rams WR Davante Adams ruptured his hamstring and will be out 6-10 weeks, per HC Sean McVay.
