🐷It’s so rare that animals get to stay with their families. Libby has such a beautiful bond with her boys. We are so thrilled we get to watch them enjoy a peaceful and joyous life together…forever.
🐓Have you met our sweet Coco?? He loves people, roosters, turkeys, really anybody. He is the chillest of dudes, will come sit on your lap, no other roosters ever try to mess with him, and he doesn’t bother a soul. 😍
🐷 Most of the pigs absolutely love getting their sunblock applied! Frodo, however, finds it to be an indignity that musses up his coiffure.
Mei Lan is what we would call a silly goose. She inspects her stall each night to make sure the peasants have done a good job cleaning it and that her dinner is acceptable before settling in. Like the queen she is. Mei Lan is a Chinese goose who was dumped in a park and rescued!

🐽 Scooter melts our hearts. Especially when he falls over on your lap for belly rubs. He can get away with just about anything due to his severe cuteness. You try to resist that face!
Greta adopted Earl when he was rescued after being dumped and picked up by animal control. Today, Greta, Earl, and Ringo love and act as one family…and Greta’s wounds from having her prior babies taken from her are healing.

Most people have never even heard the term “Jersey steer” and insist we mean “Jersey cow”! That’s because Jerseys are usually used for their milk so most people only see the (female) cows. Hooray for male Jerseys!
☀️🦙Sunbathing llama season is upon us. We are expecting the calls from our neighbors any day now to tell us we have dead animals in our pastures. (Oh yes. That actually happens!)
👌Don’t worry! Our llamas are all in excellent health but just love to lie in the sun!
Broad-breasted turkeys (the kind people eat😔) are incredibly snuggly. They are devoted friends and love interacting with humans. Ethel will follow us around for hugs and actually shoo away any other birds who she thinks might attempt to take away attention from her. 🥰
🏖️Well, Piggy Sue and Piggy Smalls are off to enjoy their summer vacation as woodland faeries. Pigs’ ancestors were native to the forests of Europe and ours love hanging out under trees and exploring all the forest has to offer!
🦙S’mores is getting closer to being part of her new herd! She has spent the last few days in the pasture with the goats, sheep, and llamas, and is much less anxious now that she has decompressed. Watch this space for more updates!!
