1. Federal agents (HSI) executed a search warrant on her Washington, D.C. home in a pre-dawn raid. They seized her phone, computers, passport, notebooks, and other items.
2. DOJ court filing names her “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” The last name matches that of her ex-husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, who is alleged to be her brother.
3. Investigators have DNA evidence that may prove she married her brother.
4. Ilhan answered “Not to my knowledge” when asked if she married her brother.
5. Federal probe focuses on possible false age/birth-date statements for citizenship. Investigators are examining whether her age was listed as 17 (instead of 18) so she could derive citizenship through her father in 2000.
6. Ex-Somali minister says Ilhan Omar leaked Congress meeting info to Somali leaders.
7. Ilhan Omar’s own memoir lists ages that don’t match her official birthday.
