RNLI volunteers have rescued a swimmer who got into difficulty in the River Thames in London.
Crews from Wandsworth RNLI pulled the person, who was unharmed, aboard their lifeboat.

What do you think about a new temporary route for the Thames Path between Hurley and Marlow? The potential new route was displayed at a public information event hosted by the Environment Agency on 16 Oct. The route requires permissions from private landowners as well work by the Environment Agency to widen weir walkways and provide alternatives to steep steps. Link to the EA survey 🔽

Oxford: expect a short diversion on the Folly Bridge-Osney leg from next week. Will be in place until next year.
Cradle Bridge, a footbridge just before Radcot Bridge, has been closed being unsafe . Walkers should follow the short diversion south by the Old Thames.
