Bro, the more you defend this the more stupid it looks. As someone who's been in the game long, there's nothing free about the scholarship, it's a paid promo or paid partnership packaged in the form of a scholarship using a celebrity's face.
In cybersecurity it's called “social engineering.” It's very common among Indians; if you have decent Influnce on social media or a known celebrity, they approach you with online tutorial gigs like this where the membership registration fee is the real profit.
There is a reason most people in tech have gone into online tutorials these days. It's done worldwide, but packaging it as a free scholarship or charity is the issue. It's pure business. There's nothing free about the scholarship.
A few misconceptions about the Don Jazzy x TS Academy Scholarship:
- Hidden Fees:
The application fee is not hidden. Don Jazzy mentioned it in his video, and it is clearly stated six times on the scholarship website. But it's clear that many people didn't watch the video or even visited the website. The tuition itself is free.
- 26k Application Fee:
The application fee will be discounted and will not be the standard TS Academy fee.
- Classes:
TS Academy classes are held live, and recordings are made available afterward.
- Pocket watchers.
TS Academy has over 90 staff members and employs 150 students annually as student moderators. You are doing mathematics for hundreds/thousands of registration, but what is leaving your own pocket for 3-6 months course is just N26k. N26k is not paying anyone's salary.

I didn’t come out to the best of news. I didn’t come out excited because I lost something I couldn’t get back. I came out knowing that wherever my son is, he wants to be proud of his mother.
The way my son p@ssed was so peaceful. No stress. He was 9 years old but spoke like an adult. When my son was alive, he dreamt that he d!£d.
He told his brother, Darell, my sister, who prayed for him. He also told my dad, but he never told me. So, when he p@ssed, I was reminiscing a lot.
He was asthmatic and very hyperactive. Since I gave birth to him, I’ve been in and out of the hospital. He had chr0n!c asthma. I learnt that while I was in custody, he was using two inhalers.
I ask myself if I could have done anything differently. My mother did all she could. They said he p@ssed around 6:30 a.m. on a Monday morning in the hospital. He was so kind and selfless.
I had to forgive myself, and I have decided to br!b£ God, and I know He’ll help me pass this phase of my life.

Lula wins fourth term in Brazil runoff.
Incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) defeated Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in Yesterday’s presidential runoff in Brazil, taking ~51.8% (about 64.3 million votes) to Bolsonaro’s ~48.2% (about 59.8 million)—margin: roughly 4.4 million votes.
It is the first modern Brazilian election (since 1989) in which a candidate who finished second in the first round reversed the result in the runoff. Flávio had led the October 4 first round (~47% to Lula’s ~45%).
Flávio Bolsonaro has refused to concede and says he will seek to annul the result, citing a last-minute court decision that extended voting by two hours. The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has called the race for Lula.
