Ticketmaster favors accounts that do not transfer tickets, to get in queues. A real fan who goes with their buddy, who is transferring tickets to their friends, is getting put in the back of the line for all future events, because Ticketmaster is a monopoly and they treat all transfers as "stubhub sales" and that is a threat to TM resale platform and LYV stock. They put those people in back of the line, and all the resellers who use "transferless links" in the front of the line. This is also why all queues are now 100,000 people. Ticketmaster also of course email fans say "transfer tickets to your friends if they beat you to the gate" with no mention of being placed in the back of the line for all future presales.
This is a monpolistic practice and questionably illegal. #ticketmaster #monopoly @DanWallLN @ScottFriedman3
Ashe Wave 1 presales start at 10am. Nothing like artificial scarcity to let artists drip out Platinum tickets at inflated prices while resellers cash in before everyone else can even buy.

Angine De Poitrine 250,000 lines 🤣🤣😂😂😅😅 Euro-botters take no days off #ticketmaster #anginedepoitrine
System of a Down select queue waitroom resulting in $500 get-in's for night 1. #systemofadown #ticketmaster
There was a time not too long ago that System of a Down would take a week to sell out BMO stadium. Now we have euro-bots and crazy queues forcing people to believe they must spend $800 on a ticket now or they are not getting in later. It is crazy. #ticketmaster #systemofadown
Surely Ticketmaster algorithm has nothing to do with these secondary prices and the $600 platinums being sold all over the place #ticketmaster #thequeuethatscrewsyou #SOADtickets #SystemOfADown
The economy is terrible if you ask any lefty right now. But we have System of a Down at a $400 get in, Match Box 20 selling out full tours in the year 2026, Calvin Harris selling tickets for $800 each face and fans paying it. And of course we have Garth brooks complaining about bots for the reason his shows in KC aren't selling 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #ticketmaster @ScottFriedman3
ticketmaster.com/matchbox-tw… Great for fans! @saumil Amazing!
who is this helping @ticketmaster? Oh wait, you.
Tons of Platinum $900, VIP $1200 and $800, and of course $500 TM resale ticket accounts that will get filtered to the front of the line for the next artist presales next week. #calvinharristickets #ticketmaster @ScottFriedman3
It’s a Thursday with little to no inventory dropping for Sienna Spiro or Calvin Harris, so Ticketmaster decides to put TWO full tours—Cleo Sol and Kenshi Yonezu—on sale with no presales.
This will result in 150,000-person queues that will drive FOMO and platinum purchases for fans.
Can someone explain how Matchbox Twenty is “sold out” everywhere, yet $700 Platinum tickets are still sitting there, resale is $50, and today’s queues had fewer than 500 people? Is the demand in the room with us? Something smells fishy. #ticketmaster #fomoscams #mb20
Nothing exposes the problem with the Live Nation–Ticketmaster monopoly more clearly than this Calvin Harris tour. Shows sold outside Ticketmaster, using randomized waiting rooms, have resale tickets starting around $110~. Ticketmaster shows, using its selection process, have get-in prices of $400 or more. How is that a win for fans? This system helps 2% of them at the expense of the other 98%. What do you want to bet they all show up on Ticketmaster Resale in blocks of 20, and TM looks the other way because it makes a fortune on resale fees? #Ticketmaster #Monopoly #CalvinHarrisTickets

Toronto and Hamilton prohibit resale above face value. St. Paul, Salt Lake City, and Houston all used platforms other than Ticketmaster. From there down, it’s ALL Ticketmaster venues—with absurd resale prices. That’s what this system gets you. The common denominator problem: Ticketmaster
