In grade 5, I had a birthday party at my house and invited a bunch of kids from school. Many of us were ESL, which is an important detail for the rest of the story. One of the kids gave me a t-shirt, which had a bunch of words in a circular pattern on the front. [1/?]
The school called my parents. My mom was at home during the day at the time so she picked up the phone. We had immigrated from Poland about 4 years prior so her english was still rough. Not sure what was said, but they sent me home. [4/?]
