Ego Trading
If your first action after a winning trade is to either (1) announce on X how much $ you made, or (2) clap back at someone who told you it was a dumb trade, you're likely trading from the ego.
Announcing how much $ you made is almost always the ego seeking validation. It often betrays a deeper insecurity and a need for acceptance. "But it can motivate people" might be a semi-valid counterargument, but, is it really for others, or for the "attaboy, you genius" comments you're going to receive?
"Told ya so" after a win is pure ego, and the worst part is that after you do it, your ego now influences every decision going forward because you'll be thinking, "if i'm wrong here, that guy will throw it back in my face." Accepting a loss is hard enough already, but even harder when you know others are waiting for you to be wrong so they can say "told ya so" just as you did to them.
#ES_F #NQ_F $SPY $QQQ
$SPCX Daily bearish anomaly, <prev month range high @ 155.58 = 148.50 (macro poc)
$USDCAD printed a daily shooting star within a bearish anomaly (selling absorption) forming a potential double top.
$XLU massive 3day bullish absorption testing the u/t range poc. I think a dead cat bounce is very doable
$KEL.TO two consecutive bearish anomalies formed. Bearish absorption at its finest
$AGI I think gold is due for a bounce...so far creating this 1h floor with a bullish anomaly giving us confidence in a dead cat bounce
$CRWD solid breakout to me (widespread high vol)
closed as a bullish vol P print today. As long as over 232.45, i'm leaning higher
$TLT forming another inv. h/s pattern which also played out in may within a high volume monthly doji (bullish)
