🚨 Far-right activist Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, who goes by the pseudonym Tommy Robinson, has been found guilty of harassing two Daily Mail journalists.
He was previously found guilty of stalking and harassment in 2021, including showing up at a The Independent journalist's home and threatening to accuse her partner of being a paedophile if she didn't drop an investigative news story.

🟡 Arab parties: 19 seats
Neither major bloc reaches the 61-seat majority needed to govern, leaving coalition arithmetic as complicated as ever.

🚨 Badenoch accuses Labour of being “addicted to spending other people’s money” and “addicted to welfare”. She argues benefits are rising with inflation while private sector wages lag behind, declaring: “That is not fair.”
She adds: “Just because it’s called Universal Credit” doesn’t mean everyone in the universe should claim it.

🚨 Badenoch criticises the Chancellor for failing to set out how the UK will reach 3% of GDP on defence by 2030, calling it “a plan to have a plan”. She says funding defence is difficult, “but it can be done”, claiming the Conservatives have “found the savings” without relying on more borrowing.

🚨 Badenoch slams Labour’s Budget as “more borrowing, more tax rises and - surprise surprise - more money on benefits”. She warns the UK is neglecting defence, declaring: “You can't have social security without national security.”
“This Budget is simply trying to get through the day.”

🚨 Badenoch welcomes parts of the Budget, including the Chancellor’s “U-turn on ISAs” and “breaking Labour’s pledge on the minimum wage for young people”. She also welcomes avoiding a CGT rise but questions why the fuel duty freeze will end in July, saying: “They can do better than that.”

Badenoch warns that under Labour, the UK’s tax burden will be “the highest in our country’s history” next year, while the benefits bill rises by tens of billions. She accuses the government of putting “welfare first”, leaving Britain “overspent, overborrowed and overtaxed” and “drowning in an out-of-control welfare system”.
