Freeway projects and “urban renewal” displaced over 20,000 Bostonians in the 50s and 60s, with the gov’t offering little assistance for those who owned (compensating well below market rate), and no assistance for those who rented. More info here: instagram.com/p/CZHesYZrIDW/

The federal government will conclude the #2020Census a full four weeks earlier than planned, on 9/30. Our September #dataviz shows Census response rates as of 8/31, ranging from over 85% to less than 40% in some tracts

Why doesn't Rhode Island embrace its true history, if for no other reason, then as an economic driver? From today's BTOWN pod with Providence Cultural Equity Initiative CEO @TwoHawksSays listen to the full episode on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or RIpodcast.com
Can we get this video on loop @ RI Capitol TV and in the DOA cafeteria? This is a must watch...before deciding on a certain $74 million project... @waldojaquith testimony starts around minute 40. misenate.viebit.com/player.p…
Took me 2 hours to get home to North End from Logan... Spent good amount of time waiting for @lyft at Terminal C. Signs lead you to this "Ride App" pickup which apparently is not the ride app pickup...three diffent drivers couldn't find me.
Crosswalk from here, leads directly into the jersey barriers and construction on left. No path to parking garage. Also GPS is shotty and you are only able to select "Terminal C pickup area" in app.
Decided then to take @MBTA... Which involved one shuddle and two packed, standing room trains at 6:00am on a Sunday. Before I decided to get off and walk 20 min home.

Re-organizing hundreds of miles of trails and paths into meaningful groups is a challenge. How can we accessibly differentiate the groups from one another? #mapping #civictech #accessibility

So playing the puck with skate is not possession?! 83.1"a player actually controlling the puck who shall cross the line ahead of the puck shall not be considered “off-side,” provided he had possession and control of the puck prior to his skates crossing the blue line. #NHLBruins

What are examples of successful SaaS/COTS purchases made by governments, related to core business processes? I am talking about the tools in the acronym soup that have a few descriptors along with the word “management” (BPM, CRM, HRIS).
Is there a better way to talk about these tools rather than "management"? Have there been good RFI/RFPs that have elicited successful or interesting solutions? Is there a set of tools that mix and match you would recommend?
For #greenwayP2 what about capturing a changing city with something like #NTShiftingShores?
Found myself cheering along to a great episode of GovLove from last year with @ltmelle and @costaleabo on data & procurement in Boston. I'm excited to be working in this region!
