So we’re not going to be doing the “Hailey had a psychotic break because of a bad partner” narrative. We’re not going to undermine women’s agency because this attention seeking mess did this most mundane and selfish thing all on her own. She chose this.
Let her own it.

U.S. Senator Angela Alsobrooks is asked @HannahBrandt_TV whether she spoke to Haley Stevens.
“It seems to me she didn’t know it was gonna happen either. But the point is that none of us care, to be honest with you.”
“She’s one vote, bless her heart.”
Crazy. He's not the only one to say this was a sudden switch (Charlotte Clymer did too). This woman is very unstable.

Former Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard — a longtime friend and supporter of Haley Stevens — says he was having dinner on Friday with Stevens and her fiancé, and that Stevens was excited to attend the church service with Jim Clyburn and Abdul El-Sayed.
Blanchard said that Stevens’ fiancé, Jason Turkish, began chiding her at the dinner.
“He was working her over. The way he was saying it was, ‘Everyone is disappointed in you, they did everything they could to help you and then immediately after you lose the primary, you endorsed him.’”
“He was all distraught,” he said.
“He was all strung out about Abdul. I let her know, he’s not a good influence.”
Blanchard remained in touch with Stevens throughout the weekend and expected her to attend the church service. He only found out from the news that she was at the service with Rogers and endorsing him.
“Something snapped in her. And it snapped in 24 hours,” Blanchard told Zach Gorchow of State Affairs.
“And I don’t know what.”
Blanchard, clearly pained by the situation, said several times, “This is not the Haley I know.”
He lamented Turkish’s “terrible political judgment.”

Ashley Moody NEVER walked the line with you @TeamsterSOB. But ok brother. Shout out to all the rank & file Teamsters that are voting for me. I will ALWAYS STAND WITH YOU!
Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien here. Just voted in the State of Florida for the first time, and very proud to have cast a ballot for @SenAshleyMoody. Sen. Moody has been extremely helpful working with the Teamsters to protect workers’ pensions, defend good-paying jobs, and support well-funded union apprenticeship programs. The Teamsters look forward to working with Sen. Moody in her role on the Senate HELP Committee to pass the Faster Labor Contracts Act and get this critical legislation signed into law to protect American workers.
Tripped over a rock today in the park and wiped out and my dog was so concerned about me that he tried to run away 🤣
It also sounds like she changes her mind many times throughout the day according to some tweets and I love that she will wake up tomorrow with regret (but will be a republican again by noon)
I’ve known Haley Stevens for years and have covered her extensively. This is like a body-snatcher moment. For as long as i’ve known her she’s prided herself on being a loyal Dem team player, and now she’s torching that entire career and reputation in a single day.
Absolutely wild to watch a political career implode in such a destructive way.
Yup.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was endorsed by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was endorsed by President Barack Obama.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was endorsed by Michigan Senator Gary Peters.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was endorsed by Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was endorsed by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Repost this everywhere. Take the narrative back.
My friend w/the severely disabled daughter who can't work I'm sure will be grateful to Stevens and the democrats who vote for Rogers and/or sit that out and allow him to win. Oh btw that friend is Jewish but I guess not acceptable Jewish to those who fit the description above
It's interesting because I'm giving her ALL the agency for these terrible choices and this guy is also so clearly toxic. So, basically, they are both trash
From a longtime Stevens ally:
“The consensus among her friends, colleagues and staff is that there needs to be an intervention to save Haley from her fiancé because, if you ignore the politics and focus on the personal dynamics, you are watching in real time what happens when a kind and smart - but deeply insecure - woman falls under the influence of a toxic and controlling - and deeply insecure - man.”
I was going to work today for two hours to get a jump on tomorrow and really today is just too much. It can wait until tomorrow

Mallory McMorrow, quoted by The Washington Post
“Michigan could very well be the state that flips control of the Senate. …That’s what’s on the line. Nothing less. And Michiganders know it.”
“Cut the shit. Lock in. Knock doors. Get out the vote. That’s it.”

And yep I also just those who would leave it blank rather than vote for Abdul when two supreme court seats are on the line and vulnerable people will lose everything if we can't flip the senate. seriously fuck off

Ray Wert, the husband of Michigan Senate Majority Whip Mallory McMorrow — who ran against Abdul El-Sayed and Haley Stevens in the Democratic primary before dropping out — with a scathing statement about Haley Stevens’ character.
I’ve known Haley Stevens for a long time. Until now, she has always had staff to protect her, prop her up, and keep her safe from her own irrational behavior. What we’re seeing now? This is just raw, unfiltered Haley.
The Haley who flip-flops and goes from thought to thought without rhyme or reason. The Haley that calls you at 3 AM to yell at you, and then calls you back at 5 AM oblivious to the fact that she even spoke with you at 3 AM. The Haley who bends to the last and loudest voice that tells her something.
More often than not that last voice is now her fiancé. And as you can see by what one of her former staff people posted earlier here on X, that appears to potentially be a really troubling relationship.
Up until this point, other than a joke I made on X a few days ago, I wasn't going to say anything public about Haley Stevens or how she has comported herself since the primary. It not only wasn't appropriate, I would never, ever want anyone to think I was speaking for or on behalf of my wife. But Haley's erratic choices mean I can no longer be silent about my interactions with her since the primary ended.
I approached Haley in the middle of September about putting her name to an Op-Ed attacking Mike Rogers for his unwillingness to denounce the antisemitic members of his own team, the $10 million in support he's received from Christian nationalist Tim Dunn, and his steadfast opposition to a woman's right to choose. The goal of the Op-Ed was to remind members of the Jewish community that Mike Rogers doesn't align with our values. The proposed Op-Ed never mentioned Abdul. The only thing it asked for was to not vote for Mike Rogers.
Initially she was very interested in it.
Then she wasn't.
Then she was again.
Then she wasn't.
She never signed it.
Literally the bare minimum - attack MAGA Mike Rogers, the guy who would have been running against you had you won the primary. And that was over a month ago. This is nothing new. This is just who Haley is. By the way, here's the Op-Ed that she wouldn't let me publish.
Why does Joe Scarborough get it and some democrats don’t?
Today, Haley Stevens endorsed Donald Trump’s most savage policies—the brutalizing of Hispanics, the killing of US citizens in American streets, the launching of endless wars, the gutting of Michigander’s health care, his war on civil rights, higher gas prices, more expensive groceries, less health care, and endless corruption. A vote for Mike Rogers is a vote for Donald Trump. End of story.
