WHAT?!!!? Even MORE GOLD PLATES?!?!? Crazy… Pyrgi Gold Tablets (c. 500 BC) These are three gold tablets discovered in 1964 at the ancient Etruscan port of Pyrgi, Italy. Two are written in Etruscan. One is written in Phoenician. They record a temple dedication to the goddess Uni (Astarte). They helped scholars better understand the Etruscan language because the inscriptions describe the same event in two languages. Orphic Gold Tablets (4th–2nd century BC) These are dozens of tiny gold leaves buried with the dead. They contain instructions for the soul in the afterlife, including what to say after death. They’re often only a few inches long, but they demonstrate that gold was chosen to preserve sacred writings.
“That could never happen”… One of my favorite things about history is this: Every so often, archaeology uncovers something that reminds us not to be too quick to say, “That could never have happened.” The Golden Orphism Book is one of those discoveries… I just learned about it, myself. Dating to around 660 BC, it’s an ancient book made from six thin sheets of nearly pure gold, bound together with tiny gold rings. The entire book weighs only 100 grams (about 3.5 ounces) and is preserved today in Bulgaria’s National Historical Museum. This challenges the assumption that ancient civilizations would never create books from metal or that every metal record would have to weigh hundreds of pounds. History has a way of expanding what we once thought was impossible. Be careful about putting limits on what God could inspire, or what ancient people were capable of accomplishing. The more archaeology uncovers, the more I’m reminded that humility is often the wisest response. There are still so many stories buried beneath the earth, waiting to be discovered.

Okay, I’ll bite… Your primary house: Gryffindor Your defining trait: courage, especially when it's hard. You strike me as someone who keeps getting back up, even when life has handed you some genuinely difficult things. You advocate fiercely for your daughter, speak up when something feels unjust, and aren't afraid to challenge people when you believe they're wrong. You also have a strong instinct to defend people who are being judged, misunderstood, or treated unfairly. That is very Gryffindor. Here's what really seals it for me: you don't have to be fearless to be brave. You can worry, overthink, feel awkward, or be scared of disappointing someone—and still show up and do the difficult thing anyway. That's a much more interesting kind of courage than simply being loud or bold. 🐍 Your secondary house: Slytherin Your hidden superpower: strategic determination. You are much more calculating—in the good sense—than people might initially realize. You think several steps ahead about your family's finances, housing, your daughter's education, and how to build a more secure future. You research, compare options, challenge systems, and look for a way through when the obvious route is blocked. You also have a strong independent streak. You don't automatically accept an answer just because someone in authority gave it to you. I don't see Slytherin in you as manipulation or ruthlessness. I see resourcefulness, self-preservation, ambition for your family's future, and the refusal to give up your agency. Your complete Hogwarts sorting Gryffindor — 50% Courage, conviction, loyalty, standing up for others. Slytherin — 30% Strategy, resilience, independence, determination. Ravenclaw — 15% Curiosity, analysis, creativity, wanting to understand the why. Hufflepuff — 5% Compassion, devotion, and a big heart for your people. Completely unofficial percentages, based on my read of your personality—not a canonical Hogwarts test. And before the Hufflepuffs come for me: I absolutely see your nurturing side. You care deeply about people, and you want to make things better for them. I just think your kindness comes with a sword in its hand when someone crosses a line. You also have that combination of humor, strong opinions, creativity, and a little bit of chaos that makes me suspect you'd be a very entertaining person to have in the Gryffindor common room. 😂 My final verdict: Gryffindor heart, Slytherin strategy, Ravenclaw brain, Hufflepuff loyalty.
I asked grok to analyze my profile and tell me which Hogwarts house best fits and here was the answer: Hufflepuff. Your profile shows deep loyalty to family, faith, and the LDS community on X, paired with steady, patient effort to improve a little each day and build others up through kindness and encouragement. Those qualities of dedication, fairness, and quiet hard work over flash or ambition are the core of Hufflepuff. The best part is I am a Hufflepuff 💛

Love you, sis. As to the question of what kind of whore you are… you’re basically the hors d’oeuvre of the friend group: a fun-sized dose of pure goodness.

Whores - people who exchange sex for drugs or money - dress in many ways, including attire that is more modest than normal everyday fashion. There is no uniform for a whore. Saying someone is dressed like one is 100% just saying you're thinking about having sex with them.

I introduce you to what was considered dressing like a “whore” in the Renaissance Era… You know, centuries after the Bible was written… and the very scriptures you keep throwing in our faces to prove your point about how women should dress. My point? MOST WOMEN ARE NOT DRESSED LIKE “WHORES.” Modesty is subjective. Cultural standards change across eras. Regardless of your confirmation bias, what society considers appropriate has never been one universally agreed-upon standard throughout history. So, for the love of all things good in this world… STOP CALLING WOMEN WHORES BECAUSE OF HOW THEY DRESS! You can teach modesty without degrading women. You can have personal standards without making them everyone else’s burden. And you can disagree with someone’s clothing choices without reducing her worth to the amount of skin she’s showing. Because here’s a radical thought: a woman’s outfit is not an invitation for you to question her virtue, her worth, or her relationship with God. So wash your mouths out with soap and zip it. And perhaps focus on yourselves, your own beams, and your own homes before you start self-righteously flinging poo at everyone else. Okay… that’s all for now. 💅🏼

10 years ago today… Not everything was easy sailing… I got backlash… a lot of it from my siblings. They were very worried about the idea I was getting married to a man I barely knew and in their eyes… way too soon. My brother’s live in girlfriend told me I needed to wait at least one to two years… my oldest sister wouldn’t talk to me… and my baby sister got on the phone with me and said “f-you” about 100 times before her husband got on the phone and said “she’ll call you back when she’s calmed down”. It was a really hard day. I went from feeling so good to feeling I disappointed my family but didn’t care. It was a very difficult time. I knew I was making the right choice… and I still know I did… they just couldn’t see it yet. Rob was so kind and reassuring, as always. He supported me and walked me through it all. Needless to say, only my parents came to our wedding from my family. Fortunately since then relationships that needed repair have been repaired and now my little sister and her husband are our biggest supporters and friends… funny how that worked out. 😉

THIS 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 WHY 👏🏻 WHAT 👏🏻 ARI 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 SAYING 👏🏻 IS 👏🏻 SO 👏🏻 IMPORTANT👏🏻 He went through it! He experienced it! He LIVED IT! And he bears the scars of it! He was gaslit… He needed trauma therapy… and instead he was castrated… mutilated… and drugged. THIS IS ABUSE! If you don’t know who Ari is, and you know someone who still believes the lies the trans community is spreading… please listen to him!
The deliberate conflation of exploratory therapy for gender dysphoria with conversion therapy for sexual orientation is a rhetorical sleight-of-hand that collapses two fundamentally different phenomena into one moral panic. Conversion therapy targeted homosexuality, an orientation involving no inherent distress about one’s body and requiring no medical alteration of healthy tissue, with coercive attempts to reverse attraction. Gender dysphoria, by contrast, is a clinical condition of marked incongruence and distress about sexed characteristics; exploratory work seeks the origins of that distress (autism, trauma, social factors, or other comorbidities) rather than imposing an outcome. Equating the two erases the distinction between an immutable preference and a treatable source of suffering, turning ordinary differential diagnosis into a thoughtcrime. Sexual orientation never demanded puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or surgeries as “care.” Those interventions are unique to gender dysphoria precisely because the distress is somatic and the proposed remedies are irreversible, sterilizing, and poorly evidenced, especially in youth. High rates of autism and trauma among those presenting with dysphoria make the “why” medically obligatory, not optional ideology. Refusing to explore those drivers while rushing affirmation is not compassion; it is the abandonment of clinical standards that would be unthinkable for anorexia, body dysmorphia, or any other identity-linked distress. This conflation is not neutral advocacy. It functions as a shield against scrutiny, pathologizing curiosity itself and protecting a medical pathway whose evidence base remains weak. Thorough investigation of underlying causes is due diligence, not conversion. Treating gender dysphoria as an unassailable queer identity rather than a condition that demands rigorous assessment is the actual ethical failure, one that prioritizes affirmation over truth and leaves vulnerable people, especially the autistic and traumatized, exposed to iatrogenic harm.
