I'm over my WC tantrum now. I thought 3rd place game would be depressing as the players would switch off. Instead they went for it and celebrated their medals like proper role models. The squad did us proud, hopefully Tuchels learnt a big lesson for the Euros
Lacking any real quality but better than I expected with what we have available. Concede an goal early in the 2nd half and I can see us falling apart though.

I feel like this is aimed at me. Spot on.
B2b wins for Dionisi who's already being seen as another nodge in our head coach bedpost would be just lovely. Come on lads @Mattiepollock4

Look how much the #WatfordFC victory over Charlton means to head coach Alessio Dionisi after a turbulent week.

Overall a much better half from us but Charlton will be happy that they soaked up the pressure and grew into the game. We've been wasteful with chances but at least we're making some. Desperate for Boadu to get a goal and some confidence. Better but 2nd half could go either way
Okay this is my favourite ever interview with @T_Deeney
The canteen part with 'what did you do about it at the time Tom' in ref to Ince's interview is spot on.
The ownership is what it is, for now. So us fans and players need to come together.
@Mattiepollock4 should listen

Seven defeats in Watford’s last nine matches have piled pressure on Alessio Dionisi, but the club’s problems run far deeper that their head coach:
🔻 £14m wage bill one of Championship’s lowest
💸 Unwilling to pay players more than £10,000 a week
❌ Not a penny paid on summer signings
🗣️ Fans revolting against trigger-happy owner

Since Tom Ince’s #watfordfc interview I’ve exchanged several messages with various ex-players and coaching staff from the last decade. I’m not going to name them, but this is some of what they said.

Warning: Distressing and graphic language
An undercover investigation by ITV Exposure into Nigel Farage’s Reform UK has found multiple elected councillors and party candidates expressing racist views and using offensive language.
ITV has obtained secretly recorded footage showing Reform officials from across England and Wales using violent, racist and sexist language.
Councillors Alan Feeney, Chris Whelan and Jamie Campbell did not reply to our request for comment. Councillors Feeney and Whelan have since resigned from Reform UK.
In a statement shared with ITV News, Reform UK said: "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed."
"Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."
