Sometimes I tweet nonsense, sometimes I tweet about healthcare nonsense. Mostly it’s just ordinary nonsense...

Murdering moderates willing to engage in debate is a quick path to meeting people with no desire to talk to you at all.

I recently got this letter from our pediatrician about @UHC. If this can happen to me it can happen to everyone, and that’s why it’s wrong.

I want to know which accreditation organization signed off on all of them If there’s a common denominator, clean up from there rather than punish all of us

There is simply no greater opportunity for massive savings from waste, fraud and abuse (WFA) than #MedicareAdvantage. Don’t take my word for it @DOGE —read the @OIGatHHS & @WSJ reports on the extent of WFA in MA. Re: #2, I for one do not believe @Aetna’s executive that they are losing $ on MA, unless they are just poor operators which could be the case. Stock price in the past 12 months would support that theory (down nearly -15% in the last yr). Re: #6, I do believe @KFF analysis that the prior authorization denials have increased for MA plans, especially relative to Medicare A & B. News coverage of the shooter should be limited to showing their crumpled dead body, calling them a little bitch, and reminding everyone that nobody thought they were cool.

I was told more minorities buying guns would make me support more gun control. So far, nothing. Maybe it's a delayed effect? Bunch of Republican governors have signed constitutional carry into law lately. Didn't anyone tell them about this?

Doctors at a major US insurance company deny tens of thousands of claims a month without even looking at patients’ files. “We literally click & submit,” a former Cigna doctor told @ProPublica & @Capitol_Forum. “It takes all of 10 seconds to do 50 at a time.” The inside story 🧵

Time to stir up some controversy: There’s a lot of debate about how to pronounce pecan. But, I think pronunciation of the word “creek” is a much more pressing issue. My midwestern and Western friends are pronouncing it wrong. It’s not “crick” Its “creek”

If you seek to divide up the United States, you probably shouldn't be serving in the congress of the United States. The real solution to these tensions is to weaken the federal government back down to its actual constitutional bounds, and respect the 10th amendment. If we didn't ignore the constitution to make the federal government as powerful as it is today, then it wouldn't feel like an existential threat to one side when the other side had control of it. Most of what the federal government does today is in excess of its enumerated powers, and that is the root of our divisions.
We need a national divorce. We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government. Everyone I talk to says this. From the sick and disgusting woke culture issues shoved down our throats to the Democrat’s traitorous America Last policies, we are done.

The Last of Us Episode 3 was terrific, but when the show establishes that Bill is a survivalist with a wide variety of guns, it's pretty strange for him to be going with the bolt action rifle against a raiding party. I'm pretty sure I saw an FAL on his wall.

I like spending my time amending notes that say “patient is 100% compliant with CPAP” with “patient benefits from CPAP” because so many people who don’t benefit from a CPAP wear them every night without fail. Thanks for this worthy mission @AnthemBCBS. – at Virginia, USA

The Constitution gives unelected bureaucrats no power to make federal law. They make law anyway—costing the U.S. economy trillions of dollars per year and imposing more criminal and civil penalties than the government itself can count. We are all poorer and less free as a result.

Opposition to this sort of backroom, no-ability-to-read-or-amend, debt-hiking governance will be portrayed as radical. That is exactly backwards. The American people’s representatives deserve an opportunity to properly consider important legislation. (2/x)
