Breakthrough season for Carlos Espi and despite the small sample size, there is a lot to like 👇

Pretty sure a lot of the other teams “100m” attacking player weren’t that when their club signed them. Someone like a Bahoya is the exact signing they’d make and turn into that (not saying he is or will but he can’t be any worse than Brendan and Wilson atm surely?).
Daniel Farke: “I'm the manager of a side who has struggled for 30 years to play 2 solid seasons on PL level. I accept that we don't have offensive-wise individual quality where a player who costs £100m who has a moment of magic and wins this game.” #LUFC [via @isaacjohnsonLL]
A year ago I would have taken a boring mid table team for a while but now we’re in that positions my god it’s hard work. Just want a couple of Raphinha (when he joined us not now) to at least create some exciting moments.
Lankshear in this Boro team was an absolute tap in (literally) for goals wasn’t it. If he was there last season they would have got promoted.
This along with an injury to DCL and things suddenly look a lot different. Not going to complain too much about us having success from set pieces as it’s something I’ve called for us to improve on previously but can’t rely on it for any success we may have.
Thus far we are doing very well at creating Set Piece xG & goals. But pretty bad at creating Openplay xG & goals.
It's not a problem at the moment, but if teams figure out a way to stop our threat from set pieces. We could struggle.

2 goals and 2 assists today, taking him to 6 and 3 assists in 7 games for Paris FC. Would have been a great option for us as back up to DCL, especially given Farke is obsessed with playing Nmecha wide. He’d of been a better option in that role for me.
Our biggest challenge for this season and the coming years is slowly changing from a physical heavy team to a more technical team. At the moment we’re very streaky within games, 10 minutes look amazing, 10 minutes looking less dangerous and repeat.
This is going to have to also come from a players pov but at the moment any form of technical first player is being dismissed because Farke just refuses to accommodate them.
Worse team in the league from a pressing point of view and they’ve caused us problems when we’ve built up.. slight concern.
Casseres has to be one of the most underrated players in Ligue 1. Literally the definition of all action midfielder.
Palace’s zonal marking from corners getting massively exposed by Forest so far. Seems like a matter of when not if they score from one.
Think for me going into this season regarding Farke was to see how we played against the teams we struggled against last season. Arsenal and Brighton away were two of our most disappointing performances last season, compared to this season it’s night and day.
