Just saw Drummer Boy 6/10 - should go see it to support it, but hopefully 1. Acting was solid. 2. It’s a musical…did not know that 3. The story is well written. 4. The music is modern and it should have fit the time period. This took people out of the movie. This made it feel like they were trying to kill two birds with one stone : money off a movie and an album that could stand alone. 5. SPOILER—it should have had a more tragic ending.

Everyone in Heaven is Catholic. Non-Catholics can be saved, but they are saved in spite of their religions, not because of them.
What's an opinion that would have you like this?

Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Be hopeful, not optimistic. There is a difference.

Read about the prophet Hananiah. Optimism is sin too.
“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.” Ephesians 4:31 ESV Bitterness is sin.

This year the church has sued multiple states on behalf of Catholic health professionals who have moral objections to anti-life measures such as euthanasia and abortion. The Pope has your back, Catholics.

Just so you know, Solzhenitsyn outlines almost the exact same scenario happening in Gulag Archipelago.
MeToo "pioneer" MIT scientist who drove a professor to the brink of su*cide with false r*pe allegations after he broke up with her, told him she wanted to feel like she was "gang r*ped." Professor David Sabatini has been awarded $6M after his former colleague, Dr. Kristin Knouse, defamed him with completely false allegations. The MeToo community praised Knouse when she came out with her allegations. Sabatini's entire career was destroyed by the false allegations as his colleagues all rushed to defend the woman who lied about him. He also tried taking his own life by hanging himself, according to the Daily Mail. Newly released texts reveal that Knouse, 38, was the one who pursued Sabatini, 58, and it wasn't until he left her for another woman that she accused him of r*pe. After the breakup, she texted a friend that he was going to get "Weinstein-ed out of science." "My lawyers and I are out for blood... prison is what he should get," she said. She praised how "hopelessly defeated, beyond the violence stage," he was after his career was ruined. But text messages show that Knouse pursued him and sent him graphic texts. "I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and feel like I've been gang r*ped," she said in one text message. Knouse accused Sabatini of making her feel "scared" by his advances, but evidence showed that *she* aggressively pursued him. When he decided to pursue a different scientist, Knouse ended his career with false accusations. Sabatini's entire life was destroyed by the woke mob. They fired him from the Whitehead Institute and MIT, and erased his name from papers. She purposely left key evidence and text messages out when handing over information to investigators that would have proved Sabatini was innocent. She should never see the outside of a prison cell.

Dear Liberals of America, Please take notes on how conservatives are responding to the recent "Blue Wave." This is how adults SHOULD respond to losing an elections. We don't riot. Emotions are just a piece of data. They are not the ONLY data. Signed, Conservatives of America

There is a big difference between optimism and hope. Hope says “No matter how bad it gets, I know God is with me.” Optimism says, “Hey guys, look! Here is a sign that things are not that bad! Images like the one below are “optimism” or “cope.” They ultimately increase apathy because the reality is more than that person can handle. Which frequently leads them to look for commentators who will scratch their “optimism itch.” A hopeful person is often confused with pessimism, because people think hope is preceded by happiness. A quick read of Viktor Frankl’s “Man’s Search for Meaning” and his description of death around Christmas is sufficient to prove the distinction between hope and optimism. An optimistic person is terrified of suffering for their faith and so they look for “facts” they can bend towards optimism. After all, persecution of Christians won’t ever come to America. That’s third world stuff. Well, the third world is here and they won our midterms and they don’t like Christians. In fact they celebrate assassinations of Christian conservatives. Yep, just like when Bill Clinton was being unfaithful in the White House. Instead, hope knows that it’s going to get worse before it gets better. It also recognizes that if death is required, it will be worth it because hope goes beyond the grave. That’s why the world frequently kills the hopeful and coddles the optimists into “tolerant” allies. In short, the hopeful person is ready to die, so losing his job to the woke mob doesn’t seem so bad. The optimist can’t imagine it getting so bad that they might have to die, so they compromise here and there, until suddenly they wake up and they are wearing a hammer and sickle on their official company uniform.

Since God judges a nation based on her politics, we should not take a break from politics.
Need a break from politics? In my latest video, I look at what Church was like in 150AD.

Yep.
“All religions are a path to reach God. They are — I make a comparison — like different languages, different idioms, to get there. But God is God for everyone. And since God is God for everyone, we are all children of God. ‘But my God is more important than yours!’ Is this true? There is only one God, and our religions are languages, paths to reach God. Some are Sikh, some are Muslim, some are Hindu, some are Christian, but they are different paths.” — Francis, 2024 It was at this point, far from being, in substance, a *turning* point, that my suspicions were moved to certainty about how the intellect of some can be completely overridden by the faculty of the will, particularly in apologetics. We teach our kids the first and second commandments, and they understand from a very young age: "You shall have no other gods before me... for I am a jealous God... punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments." (Exodus 20:3-4) Unmistakable clarity was given by the teaching of Jesus: "If any man doesn't hate his Father, Mother, Wife, Brother, and even himself, he is not worthy of Me." Or Paul: "Whoever does not love the Lord Jesus, let him be anathema." (1 Cor. 16:22) Children, and we included ("you must become a child"), understand what that all means. And yet, highly educated Catholic philosophers/theologians, all undoubtedly possessed of extremely high IQs, were still trying to defend the message of Pope Francis (audio/video evidence below) as consistent with the basic commandments of God. There should be no excuse at all, but how do we explain this phenomenon? Smart, but helplessly engulfed in the enigma of contradiction. "Ybarra, God is in the paradoxical tension. You just don't see it yet." What they do is clearly nod their head in agreement with the 10 commandments with a smile from ear to ear, but then there is a door to the basement that they have kept more or less hidden until the comforts of a de-fanged magisterium materialized in the 21st century. In that basement is the murky place of the human psyche with all of its various complexities. It is akin to a laboratory wherein theological experiments are conducted. And then there is even a closet within the basement entitled, "Complex cases of ignorance, inculpability, and the pagan spark of the divine," and in there are the most brilliant of theologians who have crafted all sorts of ways to put a check-mark on Denzinger (i.e., the letter of Catholic dogma), grab 4 or 5 early Christian universalists, while pointing the way to a perennial consolidation of immature, wounded, and blameless humanity that ends up likely being saved when all is said and done. If I had to describe this phenomenon in the most blunt, albeit not mutually agreeable, manner, I would say it is the phenomenon of helping the God of historic Christianity clean Himself up both theologically, psychologically, and even emotionally. Oh, those poor early Apostles, Church Fathers, Saints, Doctors, and the breadth of the Christian horizon.... if only.

If DHS claims they have stolen the midterms, our country is gonna lose it.
UNREAL: Woman in NYC went to her polling station to vote yesterday, only to be told that she had already cast a ballot. Because New York doesn’t require voter ID, she verbally confirmed her information, which was already displayed on the voting computer screen anyway. She then filled out an affidavit ballot and was told that officials would later decide whether her vote would actually be counted. How many people who never showed up to vote had ballots cast in their names without ever knowing about it?

Ironically, many Protestants like this sweater but do not realize that St Nicholas would slap them too.
Christmas cheer. Nicene conviction. One legendary slap. According to legend, Saint Nicholas had heard enough of Arius denying Christ’s full deity at the Council of Nicaea and answered with a slap. The story inspired the sweatshirt.…
