Honestly as much as I wouldn’t want to mess with what Ashby has going at all if he can deliver a couple more wins this week he’s probably earned a shot to start again next season. Fair trade imo

Aaron Ashby still wants to one day work as a starter. Even in the World Series, he is jokingly reminding people of his desire. In the meantime, he’s thriving from the bullpen with a postseason scoreless streak. He’s a prototypical Brewers success story: nytimes.com/athletic/7717025…

Brewers’ Aaron Ashby thrives in World Series as a reliever, dreams of being a starter (Gift Article)

Ashby might join the Brewers’ rotation next year, but he's doing just fine in his current role, with a string of scoreless relief outings.

WATCH: "Nothing, it was a strikeout and, ultimately, we lost." #Rays DH Yandy Diaz says there should not be any controversy over the questionable check swing call to end the game. He will always side with the call on the field made by the umpires.

Aaron Ashby switched the grip on his changeup... two weeks ago?! The @Brewers dominant southpaw joined the #MLBTonight desk to recap his outing in Game 2 and the confidence he has using his full arsenal in any situation.

Earlier today, Pat Murphy had this to say about Sal Frelick: "I can't tell you why Sal is just a little bit better than anybody would rate him as. I can describe it, but you can't measure it." Sal Frelick just tied this game with a homer to center off left-hander Ian Seymour.

I have NEVER trusted a team like I trust these Brewers and I will NEVER trust a player like I trust Aaron Ashby. Many great arms on this staff but this is our ace this postseason

It’s so funny because Ashby starting half the games last postseason drove me crazy but this bullpen role has totally unlocked him
