BREAKING: Billionaire Sir Richard Branson unleashes a SCORCHING attack on Trump and his disgusting cozying up to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that gets under Trump's skin... "I thought I’d never have to say this in my lifetime, but this is 2026, and sadly nothing is what it used to be," Branson, the founder of Virgin Group, wrote on LinkedIn. "The Trump administration has become an appeaser to autocrats and dictators, putting their personal whims before the best interests of the American people and those of the free world. What is it about Putin that President Trump fawns over?" "How will America’s allies ever be able to trust this administration again when they are now turning against them at a time of war and suffering?" he asked. Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. First, he announced a stunning deal with Putin to allow millions of barrels of diesel into the global markets, a move that will directly pump money into the Russian war machine. Then, he began a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy and said that Putin is easier to deal with. The backstabbing escalated when Washington failed to provide its usual early warning to Kyiv of an incoming Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears that the White House ordered a temporary disruption of Starshield, a military version of Elon Musk's Starlink that the Ukrainian armed forces rely upon. "The slowdown of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable lack of advance warning of Russian missile launches have already caused Ukrainian civilians to die unnecessarily," wrote Branson. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear it’s that European leaders must overcome the initial shock about Trump’s recent actions and step up to the plate. It’s as much about Europe’s freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "All options should be on the table now, from the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine to the delivery of advanced weapons systems such as Germany’s Taurus." "Why oh why is this happening? We cannot let the free world be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded. We couldn't agree more. Trump is an enemy to Ukraine, an enemy to democracy, and an enemy to the American people. When Democrats retake power, we have our work cut out for us. Every last trace of this monstrous man's legacy must be erased. Please ❤️ and share if you think that Trump is Putin's puppet!

This has got to stop. If he spent as much energy (and money) into ending the war that he started and brokering peace between Ukraine and Russia than renaming bodies of water and redecorating - we’d all be a lot richer, not just the Trump family & friends. apple.news/AzFaCEbXQTNu5IG01…

Gavin Newsom goes off on the Trump Family corruption: Newsom: And I’m not talking about the $100,000 watches. I’m not talking about the guitars that he’s selling that you didn’t even know about, or the Bibles, or the sneakers. I’m not talking about all that. I’m talking about what’s happening substantively with these kids and these investments, and the Pentagon contracts they’re receiving on rare earth minerals and drone companies, and all the stuff that’s happening with the Kushner family, the Witkoff family, the “Board of Peace,” which is about getting a piece of the Middle East. Let’s talk about the UAE and high-value chips, where they’re getting a piece of our national security, where the Biden administration held off. But as long as you can get a deal done with the UAE on the private family businesses, then all of a sudden national security becomes less of an important talking point. Or how about the tariff relief in places like Vietnam for the golf courses and the development deals, and the dozen other countries that he’s doing business in? How about all the corruption as it relates to the self-dealing with his resorts and all of his assets that the Secret Service and taxpayers are subsidizing? Or directing G7 investments? Or the emoluments issues across the spectrum every day? Or just the day trading literally behind the Oval Office desk, or showing up on your calendar at a company that you just invested in because you know that stock’s going to pop because you’re going to promote it the next day? All of this happening—this open sewage system. You talk about draining the swamp. He gave it a presidential suite with gold leaf. And you’re seeing this gross corruption at a scale and scope never before seen in modern American history. This is stuff I don’t even imagine exists at this scale in a year and a half, even in Putin’s Russia or Kim Jong-un’s North Korea.

BREAKING: Protesters DROWNED OUT Hegseth, Miller, and Blanche so completely that they couldn't finish their speeches at Washington DC ceremony. They came to Washington DC’s Malcolm X Park to give themselves a pat on the back. They left humiliated. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and White House advisor Stephen Miller descended on the historic D.C. landmark Wednesday for a self-congratulatory ceremony honoring National Guard troops Trump deployed to the capital and has refused to withdraw. What they got instead was a wall of noise — sirens, horns, whistles, chants, and a DJ setup — courtesy of Washington residents who have had enough. Stephen Miller, architect of some of the cruelest immigration policies in American history, tried to deliver a speech dividing humanity into "builders and destroyers." The irony of Miller — a man who has spent his career destroying families, communities, and constitutional norms — casting himself as a defender of civilization was apparently lost on him. The protesters' sirens were not. Hegseth, never one to miss a chance to embarrass himself, declared the chaos "perfect background noise" and called the protesters "ingrates" who "can't see law and order and common sense in front of them." He also insisted, with a straight face, that "there is nothing political about this exercise." It’s a laughable thing to say at a ceremony in a park filled with cameras, and featuring the Secretary of Defense, the Acting Attorney General, and Stephen Miller. Nah, nothing political. The deployment itself tells the whole story. National Guardsmen have been stationed in Washington for months against the explicit wishes of District leaders and residents. And what have they been doing? Mostly wandering upscale neighborhoods like Georgetown and Cleveland Park — areas with the city's lowest crime rates — looking at their phones and vaping. Meanwhile, the administration is now taking credit for the restoration of Malcolm X Park's iconic cascading fountain — a rehabilitation project that was planned and funded long before Trump ever showed up to claim it. The residents of Washington DC didn't ask for this occupation. They didn't want these speeches. And on Wednesday, they made absolutely sure Hegseth, Miller, and Blanche knew it — in the loudest, most gloriously disruptive way possible. The Trump administration came to Malcolm X Park to perform strength. The people of DC performed something better: resistance. Ossoff: We see a faithless president, self-dealing, while he depicts himself as Christ, while he depicts the Obamas as apes, while he plunges the nation recklessly into war, plunders our health care, and sends prices soaring.  And while the people pay more than ever for groceries and housing and health care, he builds a monument to himself.  While a cancer patient loses health coverage, he adorns his office in gold.  Voting rights laws are dismantled, prisons for immigrants are full of children, and all the while we see this wickedness advanced and defended by those who wrap themselves in the banner of righteous faith.  But we ask, where in Scripture are we commanded to deny care to the sick, to take from those with the least to give to those with the most, to violate the house of worship to hunt down the refuge

I’ve resigned from The Baltimore Sun after 25 years of politics and sports reporting. I was proud to have been there during a long period when our reporting followed the facts wherever they happened to lead. I’m not saying anything readers can’t see for themselves, but The Sun has changed since its purchase by David Smith, executive chairman of the Sinclair Broadcast Group. I no longer fit there. I’m grateful to the sources whose trust enabled me to report responsibly, and to the readers who supported our work. I’m exploring new opportunities inside and outside journalism. My DMs are open. – at Washington, DC

BREAKING: Experts SOUND ALARM after Trump issues memo that could allow his staff to delete millions of White House emails in violation of record preservation laws. The timing alone should set off alarm bells. The Trump administration is currently being challenged in court over its preservation of government documents. And this week, it issued new internal guidance that a leading archives expert says gives White House staff "license to do the exact opposite" of preserving records. The memo, issued by White House Counsel David Alan Warrington to Executive Office of the President staffers, represents a "significant departure from historical practice" — Warrington's own words. It quietly rewrites the rules around which communications need to be saved and how. University of Maryland professor Jason R. Baron, who specializes in archives and the law, read the memo and sounded the alarm immediately. The new guidance, he told the Washington Post, provides nothing that "prevents the White House from directing the transfer or destruction of White House records, including tens of millions of emails, either before or after the end of the president's second term in office." The key sleight of hand is buried in the language. The memo says EOP components are "free to retain" previous record-preservation policies. As Baron points out, that also means they are free not to. Text messages now only need to be preserved "when they are the sole record of official decision-making" — and staffers are merely "encouraged" to memorialize those exchanges in another format rather than preserving the original exchange directly. Translation: if someone decides a text isn't the "sole record" of something, they can delete it. And nobody has to take a screenshot. Federal law is unambiguous. Presidents and their staff are required to preserve records related to government activity and turn them over to the National Archives at the end of each administration. Warrington’s memo, however, doesn't clarify whether these records will actually be turned over, and doesn't specify how Trump or Vance will personally preserve their own records. This is the administration that used Signal to discuss active military strikes in a chat that included a journalist. The administration that has fired numerous inspectors general. The administration that is fighting records requests in court while issuing internal guidance that makes destruction discretionary. "While paying lip service to the need to preserve White House records," Baron said, "the memo actually gives EOP staff license to do the exact opposite." Nixon erased 18 minutes of tape. Trump's team may be preparing to erase tens of millions of emails. Please like and share this post if you believe the American people have a right to know what their government did — even after it leaves office.
